Avoid at All Costs! I have lived at The Cove at Boynton Beach Apartments for nearly two years, and it has been a nightmare from day one. This will absolutely be my last year here, and I feel compelled to warn others about the unacceptable living conditions and neglect from the management.

Here’s a breakdown of my experience:

Filthy and Unsafe Move-In: The apartment was dirty, and there was a hole in the living room floor that caused me to injure my toe. Despite multiple complaints, the flooring was poorly redone by unidentifiable workers, and the glue has been seeping through the floor ever since.

Mold and Humidity: The apartment has severe mold issues due to high humidity levels and water leaks throughout the walls. Mold is growing in the vents, walls, ceilings, and closets. Management has ignored our complaints, and both my partner and I have suffered health issues as a result.

Water Leaks and Flooding: We have experienced multiple floods due to water leaking through the walls. The management has failed to provide any meaningful solution.

Pest Infestation: Roaches were crawling throughout the apartment before we even moved in any items or furniture. Pest control is inconsistent, and we constantly have to call to schedule visits.

Negligent Maintenance: Maintenance requests go unanswered for weeks. On one occasion, it took over a week to fix a power outage in our bedrooms. Maintenance workers have shown up unannounced and behaved inappropriately, making me feel unsafe as a young female resident.

Security Risks: The gates to the complex are frequently broken, allowing unrestricted access to anyone, including non-residents. On multiple occasions, I have personally witnessed homeless individuals—wearing ill-fitted clothing and carrying large black trash bags over their shoulders, with visibly disheveled appearances—walking directly through the unsecured gates in broad daylight. This poses a significant safety concern for residents, particularly families with children, and creates an environment where residents feel vulnerable and unsafe in their own community. Immediate and permanent repairs to the gates are necessary to ensure the safety and security of everyone living in the complex.

Amenity Failures:Washer and Dryer Issues: The in-unit washer and dryer have broken down multiple times, forcing us to resort to using external laundromats despite paying for this advertised amenity. Tennis Court Neglect: The tennis court is poorly maintained and frequently littered with dog waste, making it unpleasant and unsafe to use. Gym Safety Concerns: The gym often resembles a daycare, with unsupervised small children, some as young as two years old, playing and using the equipment. This poses both safety and liability concerns. Additionally, the door handle to the gym is damaged and easily manipulated, allowing anyone—including non-residents—to enter at any time, compromising residents' security.

Living here has been a constant source of stress and frustration. The management is dismissive and offers no real solutions to the countless problems. My partner and I have endured this because of health and financial constraints, but we cannot wait to leave.

If you value your health, safety, and peace of mind, do NOT live here. You will regret it as we do.

I am very impressed with the management team at The Cove. The community Director Gina Dennison, cares about the residents and is very fair and attentive to your needs. Its always a pleasure to deal with the staff here, and her attitude is always positive and professional. I have to give credit where its due with the leasing agent Ricky who is my favorite. He constantly displays a level of friendliness and professionalism and moves quickly to address any needs you may have. A lot of apartment complex staff is always nice in the beginning and change overtime. This staff has remained consistent in prioritizing the needs of the tenants, and it is undeniably noticed and truly appreciated. Its hard not to renew. Thank you all.

DONT MOVE HERE....... The office staff never answer the phone, they personally don't care about you. The Police are always here because of Crime there was 4 Shootings in this place while I lived there and 6 Drug Busts as well as about 4 Fugitive Search Warrant Raids . The gates are ALWAYS broken, people tail gate behind you to get in, because they don't belong here. Kids are ALWAYS in the gym hanging out underage being loud NOT even working out its like they utilize the gym as there hang out spot. There is NEVER parking No matter what time it is Morning, Afternoon or Night. The pools are always filled with non residents so you can already imagine, they are loud , rude and disrespectful, they seem to always have party's with Extremely loud Music and leave trash all over the pool deck and out in the parking lot. No one cleans up after their pet so count on stepping in dog poop every where you go in this community, people wipe it all over the side walk as well its just completely unsanitary and disgusting, but they don't care. Not to mention your mail will never be in the right mail box as usps always has a new delivery driver everyday so count on your mail getting Lost, Stolen and or never received. Save your self the headache, worry and frustration and pay a bit more and move to a better community. Also the comments on here from the office staff saying reach out to resolve the issue don't waste your time that's the most you will ever get from them. This place has been a nightmare.

DO NOT LIVE HERE THIS PLACE HAS MOLD

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We’ve had mold growing in our closet, ruining our clothes and shoes, and despite reporting it, management has done nothing to fix it. They avoid our calls saying their get back to us later and never do, they never have answer our questions, and take forever to address any issues we have. This mold is a serious health hazard, yet when we reported it, they casually said they’d ā€œsend someone next weekā€ to look into it.

Beyond the mold, everything in this apartment breaks or falls apart. The gate is constantly broken, and the staff does not care enough to resolve problems. If you’re considering living here—DON’T. It’s not worth the headache, frustration, or risk to your health.

Keyun has been amazing so far. She was straight up and realistic with me through the entire process. Made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions that certainly weren’t easy to ask. Moving in next month and I can’t wait. Thank you guys!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I repeat, DO NOT live here. This place has been a nightmare from day one with a severe roach infestation. I’ve called maintenance countless times, and it’s still unresolved. Paying over $3,000-$4,000 a month for this disgusting living situation is beyond frustrating. The leasing office and owners continue to make this a terrible experience. As soon as my lease is up, I’m OUT. On top of that, the keyless entry is broken, and they’ve told me it will take 2-3 months to fix. Is my safety a joke to them? There are shady people all around, and I feel unsafe here. Please, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. This place is headed for a lawsuit soon!

This was by far the worst place I’ve ever lived. It felt like a last resort for people with no other housing options. The property constantly smelled of marijuana, and there were unsheltered children sleeping outside. It did not feel safe—at times, the gates were left wide open for days. A pizza delivery driver was even robbed at knifepoint. Maintenance issues were never addressed.

The management was extremely untrustworthy. I moved out in December but was charged for the entire month, plus an additional nine days in January. I paid in full. Despite that, I received a notice from a debt collection agency today claiming I owe unpaid rent. There is no way anyone would leave a positive review unless they were compensated in some way. Do not move here.

Keyun Arnette Has been extremely helpful, moving from one unit to the next. I’ve been in the development for 3 years and it has been amazing.
The whole staff is great: Darius and Ricky
