Jenni Machir captured our wedding day so perfectly!! From the time she got there, until it was time for her to leave, she was very attentive to every single detail! The Farmhouse studios did an amazing job capturing our wedding day, and sent us the footages in timely manner. Easy to communicate, and they were always quick with the response. As all brides, I was hoping to find a photographer who would capture the essence of my wedding day. Not just the posed photos, but the behind-the-scenes glimpses as well. Jenni Machir with The Farmhouse Studios exceeded all my hopes by far! She not only made the wedding party and guests feel comfortable, but I hardly noticed she was there once the party got started. She somehow managed to focus on the details without being distracting or imposing.

Jenni will ask you to trust her, and it is well worth it. She has a natural eye, and the experience to back it up. When it came to getting the shot, Jenni was not afraid to roll around in the grass, walk through weeds, and move branches out of the way to make it happen. She was relentless for 8+ hours and showed patience and grace the entire time.

The turnaround time was shockingly fast, and I am not kidding when I say that every single picture is stunning. I can't stop looking at them and am SO happy I will be able to relive the memories through the photos. I’d caution you to working with this vendor which is why I’m posting this review- I was MOH to my sister’s May 2024 wedding. Due to an unpredictable situation for the assigned photographer, a last minute replacement was put in place the Tuesday before her wedding. My sister rolled with the punches but between untimely email responses (throughout their entire contract) and an overall lack of effort from the owner to bridge the gap with the unknown last minute shooter and the bride/groom, my sister felt like more of a hindrance to the owner than how she should have been treated- a beautiful bride who was paying for their services on a monumental day. Unfortunately as a 2025 bride myself, I would want to know who I’m signing a contract with so I’m hoping this provides transparency for those deciding who to hire. I also hope this feedback will be taken to improve future experiences.

Jenni shot our family photos on an extremely hot day this summer. She had a positive attitude and put us right at ease getting my three children to cooperate through the heat and bugs around us. Our family photos turned out beautifully, many people commented that they looked like they should be in a magazine! We are so happy with how they turned out and the quick timing that we were able to view them. Now we just have the difficult decision choosing which ones to print! We will use Jenni and Farmhouse Studios again!

Jenni has taken our family pictures twice now. She is very personable and is great at getting the perfect shot! We did newborn pictures and a family/maternity shoot. My favorite thing about her sessions is she keeps them short, sweet, and to the point. I can’t wait for our next session with our newborn!
