Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in Connecticut. My fiancé and I had such a wonderful experience. Such a great way to kick off my birthday! From appetizers to dessert everything was super flavorful. Our waiter Steve was delightful as well, very attentive. We will be back!

I was really excited to try this place, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. We went for Valentine's Day, and it felt like they grew too fast and couldn’t keep up. Despite having a reservation for 6:30, our second course didn’t arrive until 8:30. Even then, there was a mix-up with the courses – we were served the third course as the second, and then got our second and third courses almost simultaneously (see photo).

The waitstaff wasn’t very apologetic, and the service was lacking. They didn’t refill our water, clean up the dirty dishes, or offer new silverware. The menu was advertised as prix fixe, but you still had to choose dishes within each course, and there were plenty of extra charges for various items.

We’ve dined at some of the best restaurants in CT, and this didn’t even come close. For the price, we expected a truly memorable experience, but it fell short. We won’t be coming back, and we feel like the glowing Instagram reviews are from people who haven't experienced true fine dining. It also seemed like the atmosphere was shifting towards a late-night club vibe as we left at 9:30. To top it off, they forgot to give us our parking voucher. Overall, not worth the hype.

An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish!

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—valet parking, a warm welcome, and an elevator ride to a breathtaking 20th-floor dining space. The restaurant’s industrial-chic design, panoramic city views, and open kitchen set the stage for an incredible meal.

We started with cocktails—I had the Hartford Heritage, their take on an Old Fashioned, perfectly balanced with a fragrant orange peel.

Then came the appetizers—and yes, we ordered four (no regrets). The roasted cauliflower with tahini and harissa was a flavor bomb, the Swiss Raclette Fondue was rich and indulgent, and the Sunchoke Agnolotti stole the show with its truffle-laced brown butter sauce. A special shoutout to our server, Maureen, who suggested using the Parker House rolls to sop up the fondue and tahini sauce—pure genius.

For the main course, I had the duck, roasted to perfection with crispy fat and a dreamy fig and cipollini onion purée. My wife had the halibut, delicate and citrusy, paired beautifully with Swiss chard.

Dessert? Coffee & Donuts (espresso crème brûlée + cinnamon-sugar beignets = heaven) and Olive Oil Cake with citrus and crème fraîche ice cream. Every bite was a masterpiece.

The attention to detail, service, and creativity in every dish make this a must-visit. Can’t wait to return! Book your reservation NOW—you won’t regret it.

Such a perfect date night spot! We were fortunate to snag a resy opening week (Saturday night) and were blown away by how amazing everything was. The atmosphere inside felt super warm and cozy, and the service from every single staff member was off the charts. We got there early to enjoy a drink at the bar, and I had the best French 75 of my life. Katrina was our server for the night and she was incredibly friendly and personable, even when the place was packed. The views are also stunning!

We ordered the bread rolls, scallop crudo, and caviar to start. Absolutely blown away by the caviar dish - must try 100%. I ordered the strip steak/short rib combo for my entree and loved everything about it. The short rib was the most tender, flavorful bite I’ve had in a while. I could also eat those crushed potatoes everyday for the rest of my life. My partner got the halibut and it was cooked to perfection, super melt in your mouth tender. The swiss chard it was paired with was also one of our most favorite things we ate all night.

We finished with espresso martinis (to die for), the coffee crème brûlée & donuts, and the olive oil cake. Delicious ends to a great meal. They also gave complimentary bites after dessert of a yuzu gummy bite, and a little hazelnut cookie. Adorable, refreshing ends to the meal and I need 14 more of them right now.

Overall I hope to come back! The waitstaff operated with a level of grace and professionalism that I’ve only seen with restaurants that have been open for years. Even when our reservation got pushed back a little due to a long waitlist, we were treated with kindness and consideration. And it gave us an excuse to spend more time at the gorgeous bar.

It’s so refreshing and fun to have a place like this in CT. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth it! We’ll be back ❤️

We were so excited to try the Foundry after it opened. We were celebrating a promotion so wanted something special and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing - from the complimentary valet parking to the hostess and waitstaff—the service was top notch. The bar is beautiful and the cocktail was one of the better ones I’ve had in the area. Our food—the wagu beef and short rib pasta, along with appetizers and dessert were fantastic. Maureen, our waitress, went above and beyond to make our experience a special one. The views from every table are gorgeous and the overall ambiance makes you feel like you’re in nyc or Boston. We will definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and upscale evening in Hartford!

I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday, so I decided to book a table at The Foundry. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make the evening special. I reached out in advance to see if I could drop off a bouquet for a surprise, and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. A huge thank you to Francesco for coordinating everything seamlessly!

The service was outstanding—everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, making sure everything was perfect and adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, and the whole evening exceeded our expectations.
