The Gables Wine Country INN is beautiful and inviting.||||Larry & Pam are hospitable host: ||professional, personable and accommodating with attention to detail.||||They both made us feel welcome, like we were staying with old friends.||We felt at home.||||Facilities: Very quiet, inviting and comfortable||The library and dining room show the history of the house with its ||Gothic Victorian circa 1887 Decorations of the period with beautiful high ceilings.||||The beds are dreamy, the dinning room table is set and ready for the king and queen.||||Food: Wow ?||Our compliments to the chef’s! ||Such an incredible prepared breakfast each morning that included home made sourdough dough, bread, and apple bread.||Absolutely fantastic team of Pam the baker and Larry the chef!!||||Breakfast is a true culinary experience! ||Larry & Pam go above and beyond with absolutely scrumptious breakfasts, ||that included homemade sourdough bread and apple bread.||We are still drooling over Pam & Larry’s breakfast creations ||||Dining room view: We watch the quail family meander through the lavender field while enjoy the culinary delights. I recently stayed at this charming vintage bed and breakfast in wine country, and it was a delightful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the hospitality was outstanding.

Gourmet breakfasts featured locally sourced ingredients and were truly top-notch. Tea, hot chocolate, and ice were available, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The knowledgeable owners offered valuable insights about the area, enhancing our stay.

The picturesque grounds provided a serene escape, and the team was flexible in accommodating after-hours needs. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a memorable getaway.

The Gables Wine Country Inn is a very special place. The location is great - midway between Sonoma, Healdsburg, and the Russian River Valley. Perfect for wine tasting! The Inn is a 1895 Victorian manor set in the countryside, but only 10 minutes from the charming Santa Rosa Plaza with lots of great restaurants and shops. Pam and Larry are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable and helpful about the best vineyards and restaurants to visit. We looked forward every morning to their fabulous breakfasts. We will definitely stay here again.

Pam and Larry were excellent hosts. Larry made wine tasting and restaurant reservations for us and even gave us directions to get to each one. Three course breakfasts were delicious. |Very quiet and peaceful location. Easy parking and lots to explore and do in the surrounding towns. Can’t wait to go back again.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in the sunset room just a few weeks ago for a Sonoma County Wine Vacation. The Gables was the perfect home base for us, central to everything we wanted to see. Pam and Larry were amazing hosts, getting us set up with suggestions for restaurants, things to do, and even directions for a wonderful scenic drive to the coast. Their wine passport was fantastic and an amazing bonus that provided discounted and even free tastings at many wineries in the area. Their knowledge of the area is truly remarkable. Oh, and the 3-course breakfast - out of this world. So good and a really great way to fill up before a day of adventure. 5 stars all the way!!

We keep coming back here. Beautiful, and beautifully restored, old Victorian home. Check out the book in the parlor that recounts its history.||It’s perfectly situated to serve as a home base for a wine tasting trip. We also stayed here when we attended the Cotati Accordion Festival.||Larry and Pam are the perfect hosts. When we asked for a dinner recommendation, they made reservations and gave us printed directions to the restaurant.||During this last recent visit, they hosted a grape stomp (inspired by the “I Love Lucy” episode); ‘twas a blast!||But the best part is breakfast. Larry is an over-the-top foodie. Our first breakfast started with a home baked, white chocolate/black cherry, still warm scone. That was followed by a baked, spiced pear (home grown by the way, like many other ingredients), topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yes, breakfast with a dessert, before the main course even!||During our last breakfast, Pam apologized that we were getting the same thing twice. She brought out Larry’s two-egg soufflé, which confused us, because we hadn’t had that for breakfast . . . during that trip. Turns out, they track what they’ve served their guests during past visits, so they never have the same thing twice. Truth be told, we’d be happy with that every breakfast.||We’ll be back yet again!||PS - If you have an electric car, they have two charging stations.

We stayed for one night in the garden room. Room was beatiful and gave the feeling of old times decor. Our bed had a canopy! Loved that there was NO TV in the room. Hosts were warm , welcoming and shared a lot about the place. They give a passport for nearby wineries. Breakfast was homemade ( apple bread, soaked pears, sausage and potato leek pie). Perfect anniversary get away.

Charming, well preserved and spotless. Breakfast was superb, delectable and homemade. I’m super picky about beds and loved the cozy sheets and covers way too much!! Hats off to our hosts! Sustainable focus was also a plus. Charging available!
