Our daughter’s wedding was at the Grand Event Center in April 2025. Olivia communicated with my daughter throughout the entire process. Everything went exactly as Olivia said it would. She was always reachable and always pleasant. We did not have a single issue. We came from out of town and she met us to collect all of the decorations we brought. (It is worth mentioning that she also was advised my daughter all along on what the venue provided and what we would need to bring. The venue provided a large portion of the decorations.) Olivia took notes on what we were looking for and she and the staff set everything up. It was beautiful and the food is delicious. Olivia and Leighton checked in with us before and during the event to make sure everything was going ok. Every person we interacted with on staff was so friendly! There is not a single thing that we wished was different! This has to be the very best place to have a wedding in Columbus!!

My husband and I just got married at The Grand this weekend and it was everything we wanted and more! Olivia was an incredible coordinator and made sure everything was taken care of from day one of planning. She went above and beyond. Additionally, all other staff at the hotel and event center were amazing. Leighton specially was great. We highly recommend this venue!!!!

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at the Grand Event Center, and we absolutely loved it! The team here, including Olivia and Leighton, are so responsive and do an amazing job planning your day with you. The food, alcohol, and desserts are excellent - I had many guests say it was the best they've had at a wedding (especially the steak - cooked perfectly for 70+ people). We had many out of town guests, and they enjoyed staying at the attached Courtyard both Friday and Saturday, and we loved the free parking behind the venue! Overall, we could not imagine a better place to host a fun, relaxing wedding!

I cannot give enough praise to Leighton and his entire staff. The team was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure that everything I needed was taken care of. This is the second time we haven’t booked here (first was a corporate holiday party, this time a corporate training). The food is spectacular! The staff is tremendous! We can’t wait to come back again in the future

Our wedding at the Grand Event Center was truly perfect. The planning process was seamless with the coordinator team being extremely responsive and helpful. Our wedding was four months ago, and people are STILL talking about it!! I can’t think of a more amazing venue to host the absolute best days of our lives! The team was perfection, and made our day smooth and stress free! We planned this wedding from out of state, but we never felt like that was an issue. The Grand worked tirelessly to make our long distance vision come to life… how they made it look effortless, I will never know.

First, I would like to give a shout out to our coordinator. I can’t imagine what this wedding would have been like without Shannah Paddock… if you work with her, you will NOT be disappointed! Shannah made everything easy as could be, her creativity was out of this world, and her design was on point! And if you need a surprise prop (or your favorite cereal) during the speech portion of the night, she’s your gal! She was definitely made for this job and will work with the top notch team to make all the things come together better than imagined!

From the cocktail hour space to the reception to the outdoor patio, believe me when I say it will surpass everything you’ve been hoping for for your wedding! I only wish I could attach a picture of my face when we first saw the space for the first time because it would explain it all!

I’m a firm believer wedding food can make or break the mood for the night… and the food here was to die for! I cannot stress enough how wonderful Chef Collins did! I still dream of eating our wedding dinner over and over and over… this was yet another thing our guests raved about! No one left hungry, but everyone left wanting more!

Lastly, having a hotel attached to your venue was probably the smartest thing we could have done… other than getting married! It was so nice to be able to eat, drink and walk/stumble back to the room to continue the party! More convenient than you could imagine!

I cannot thank The Grand Event Center enough for everything they did for us… it was a day to remember, and I shall be recommending them to anyone who will listen!
