The Grand Oak Villa in Watertown, Connecticut, is a charming venue that provides a wonderful atmosphere for gatherings and events. Recently, we visited for a brunch, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The large banquet room was both elegant and inviting, comfortably accommodating a sizable crowd while maintaining a sense of warmth and intimacy.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Grand Oak Villa on 11/17/23 and could not have asked for a better experience. From the start of our wedding planning experience, Angela and Tarin were absolutely amazing. They made my husband and I feel so welcome and treated us like family from the very beginning. About eight months before the wedding I tore my ACL and had surgery and Tarin even checked in with me to see how the surgery went and wish me well. As we got closer to the wedding, the girls made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They checked with us about our other vendors, gave us some advice, and helped us double and triple check all of our information right up to the day of the wedding. They reduced our wedding planning stresses by so much!!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of our wedding, the food was beyond delicious, and all of the staff were so kind and friendly. Our personal server, Diana, was truly the star of the show on wedding day. She checked in with us at the exact right time, every time. She never made us feel like she was interrupting, but she was always there right when we needed her. And our drinks were never empty! We truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Oak Villa and the lovely staff there. They really felt like family. Every single one of our guests remarked that the food was incredible, drinks were made perfectly, and the staff was so kind. Angela even personally greeted our parents the night of the wedding. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!

My husband and I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Grand Oak Villa for our wedding this past October! Tarin and Angela were extremely helpful in getting the details perfected and we’re always available to answer any questions we had! Our wedding day went very smooth thanks to the wonderful staff and amazing chef Mike DiStasi! Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was and we are so grateful for Mike making sure each dish was prepared perfectly! We are very thankful for the Grand Oak Villa in making our wedding a dream come true!

The Grand Oak villa was the 2nd place I toured when searching for a venue and I could not have picked a better place to have my wedding reception. The grounds are beautiful! We chose to only have a reception there, but they have a beautiful ceremony space outside to utilize. We used their grounds for our photos and I can’t wait to see how beautiful they look. Angela and her team is extremely knowledgeable about the Wedding industry. We set up a first meeting to go over packages and let me just say all of her packages are reasonably priced and offer lots of different options for every price point. we went with a mid tier package, which came with so many food options I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. throughout the wedding planning process Angela allowed me to come in with any questions I had, as well as do a mock tables set up a month before the wedding. Two days before the wedding, Angela and her team allowed me to drop all of my decor off which are they were so helpful in setting up for me and allowed me to come back and take a look at the room once it was all finished The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Thanks to Angela and her team. My event coordinators for the day made sure I was never without a drink and we’re always checking in on me and my husband throughout the night. they set up the bridal suite for me and my husband to eat in during cocktail hour so we can unwind, and let me just say the food was phenomenal my guest raved about the food!! everything was delicious and there was so much food. Everyone went home with a full stomach. The bartenders did a great job making drinks and we had a signature cocktail, which was an espresso martini that the bar made absolutely phenomenal.
highly recommend a Grand Oak Villa if you’re looking to plan a wedding or wedding reception.

We went to The Grand Oak Villa for 2018 Oktoberfest by Prospect Gun club. Beautiful venue, beautiful decors, large capacity, plenty of parking, clean facilities, fast and friendly service. The hall is perfect for dining. I believe it seats 40 tables x 10 people per table = 400 people easy.

Food was great. It was a game dinner. So we had many different dishes made with many different game meats. Everything was cooked to perfection. Overall it was a great experience.

Breakfast with Santa was amazing for the kids. The food was ok nothing great. Wish they had a little more options ex. Fresh fruit, regular syrup, maybe an omelet station

February 2024 - Attending another group's annual banquet dinner this past weekend, The Grand Oak Villa was packed with about 300 attendees. Starting at 6:00 PM for appetizers, a cash bar and time for guests to look at different tables displaying items for raffles or auctions, everyone was seated at seven to listen to speakers.

Dinner was served buffet style and people were called up by the number of their table to fill their plates. Mains were stuffed sole, chicken marsala and sliced beef in gravy. Salads with mixed greens and bread came with the meal in addition to baked potato wedges and mixed vegetables. Chocolate or strawberry cake and coffee were offered to guests to cap off the evening while winners were announced.

The Grand Oak Villa is within the Cercemaggiore Community Club in Watertown. This is a private property for members year round, but is open to the public several times a year and for booking catered special occasions, indoors or outside.

Attending an annual organization anniversary in Feb. 2022, everything was well organized by the staff and kitchen. The event had over 200 guests which included speakers, awards, dinner and a raffle. Two special cocktails were named for the group and the bar is well stocked. Food was served family style, and if a platter ran out before a table member could get a serving, waving to the wait staff, another was brought out quickly.

The lobby entrance is elegant with Crystal chandeliers and stone. Two entrances into the large main room allows it to be separated for two parties that don't need that much space on the same evening or for one group also requiring less. Grand Oak Villa continues to be popular for a reason.
