We just got married at The Hideaway and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for! The live oak trees, the beautiful houses and the reception areas were perfect! We had the best weekend and made memories to last a lifetime thanks to The Hideaway! Chad Bullard was so helpful with questions and helping us to have a great experience! I definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a wonderful place for your wedding or event! Me and my now Wife got engaged on the property 2 months prior to us getting married there on 8/7/2021. While planning the engagement and the wedding, the owner Chad Bullard along with his awesome crew he has maintaining the property we're the most awesome and helpful people we could have ever asked for!! If I needed more fans or forgot to bring an extension cord one of his guys was always around to help me get what I needed. Their golf cart wasn't around at the time so they let us use their personal Polaris Ranger to Get around as the property is quite large. They do such an excellent job at trying their best to make your day is the best as possible! They put champagne, goodie bags, and even hand written letters in your cottage. Their bridal cottage is amazing and the man cave was something else! All of my groomsmen had a blast in the man cave playing darts, mini basketball, Foosball, and ping pong! Their pool is awesome for everyone to get together after a long day of setting up or just relaxing before the big day. Our wedding got rained on twice unfortunately but we had the most beautiful rainbow right after! Their crew was right there helping us change out wet linens and to just help dry things off. They also sprayed the area for mosquitoes and insects and what not. We couldn't be happier with the Venue and the amazing crew of people that made it all happen!

I could not have made a better choice when deciding on The Hideaway Estate for our big day! Their staff is extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. They left complimentary champagne, a fridge full of breakfast foods & the sweetest hand written letter thanking me for choosing them. We had plenty of room to get ready and countless places for photo ops, my favorite was the gorgeous oak trees. They made my wedding pictures exactly what I had envisioned. I couldn’t have ask for a better experience.

If I could leave zero stars, I would! Let me start by saying that the venue is beautiful and this review has nothing to do with that. My issue is the fact that we had to cancel our wedding and I have been being avoided ever since while trying to get my $7,500 I put down on the venue. I canceled our reservation well over a year in advance ( a year and four months to be exact) and was told I would be getting most of my money back ($6,250) seeing as we canceled so far in advance. I was told that if the venue got rebooked for that weekend then I would get the whole amount back ($7,500). I have tried calling and texting Chad over and over again to resolve this but he never returned my phone calls or reply’s to my messages.

If you book here, for gods sake I hope everything goes through because it is a beautiful venue, but if it doesn’t, you might as well forget about getting any of your money back.

This is a beautiful wedding venue in South Georgia. It is a quiet peaceful place with a lot of beautiful oak trees. One of the best things about the Hideaway is that it has four homes for all of your friends and family to stay for your special event.

awesome wedding experience. my family loved being able to stay on site of the wedding. so many good things about this venue. the staff is very sweet and the location is very clean. thank you for the memories!

The venue was beautiful, however the gnats were unbearable. There were thousands of gnats constantly in your face, mouth, ears and in your clothes. When the food was served the poor caterers had to stand there and fan the food to try and keep the gnats off, meanwhile I was trying to get food and keep the gnats out of my face. The venue only provided one industrial size fan at the entire venue to try and keep the gnats away which was a joke. Needless to say I would not recommend unless you're good with the constant annoyance of gnats everywhere!

I’ve had the pleasure of attending several events in my life. The Hideaway at Bullard Estates is the most beautiful venue. The staff goes above and beyond with every single event. You will not be disappointed!
