We cannot say enough positive things regarding our experience at the Hounds for our October wedding! The staff were phenomenal! They really go the extra mile to make sure things run smoothly and were so willing to adjust things on the fly to ensure the day went great!

Just got married here! What an incredible experience. Choosing the right venue and vendors can be very stressful when planning a wedding. We immediately felt so comfortable after meeting Linda and Cindy. The Hounds understood our vision and made sure it happened. The venue is beautiful and really on point with the vibe of this part of the state. At our reception the staff were so attentive to our needs and everything went smoothly. Their attention to detail was impressive. We also had Dog Watch provide our catering and it was delicious. If we had to do it all over again we would wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend both The Hounds and Dog Watch

We just had our wedding at the Hounds this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The folks at the venue were very helpful and responsive, it was great communicating with Linda. They let us in early the day before and let us set up and we were able to pick up some decor the day after. It was a beautiful venue, the ballroom looked very coastal without being over the top and the outdoor space was so scenic. The windows in the ballroom let in so much light which made for gorgeous photos. We got so many compliments on how lovely our venue was! It did get a little buggy but only after the sun began to set and that was fine since it encouraged people to go indoors and dance !

My DJ company worked at the Hounds a few weeks back. I was very impressed by the service, the room and the food. The food was some of the best wedding food I’ve had in a year!
Also, I had an issue with my truck and the owners could not have been nicer or more helpful.

We hosted a corporate event at The Hounds earlier this week. The team was easy to get in touch with to plan the event, the grounds were well manicured, and the interior space was bright, clean and open. Our caterer and the Hounds team collaborated well and the event went smoothly from start to finish! They even included parking attendants to help with the flow in the parking lot. I’d definitely be interested in hosting more events at The Hounds in the future!

The new owners have done an amazing job breathing life back into this venue. The renovations are tasteful and nod to the area’s nautical history without being kitschy. They’ve added tons of windows and doors leading out to the back patio. You step out into a secluded salt water marsh landscape. It’s quiet and beautiful.
Highly recommend that you check out the Hounds for your next event.
