Just got back from a weekend at The Firefly Inn and I had to rave about it! If you're looking for somewhere special that won't disappoint, this is it!||First off, the location is perfect - right in the Kent Collection, their collection of boutique, beautiful homes.||The rooms are gorgeous without being stuffy. I had a king room on the second floor and the bed was so cold. The bathroom was spotless and they have these toiletries that smell incredible. Pro tip: Ask for a room overlooking the back if you can get it. If not, no worries!||Snacks are always available and included in your stay too, which is awesome. They also have an amazing common room and kitchen that could honestly be one of the best kitchens I’ve ever been in. ||Quick shoutout to the staff - They really went above and beyond. Unbelievably dialed in and on the spot with anything you need. I forgot a toothbrush and it appeared before I could find my toothpaste. ||Fast Wi-Fi, super cozy and the interiors were designed by someone who knows what they are doing. ||Bottom line: If you want a place that feels special but still super comfortable and welcoming, book it! I’m planning on coming back. ||Good tips:|- Kent, Connecticut is a hidden gem of a town, be sure to walk around. Art galleries, good pizza and nice people|- This is an outdoors lovers paradise, get outside! Go hiking, go biking, go fishing!|- the staff are unbelievably nice and take advantage of their local knowledge. They know everything!

I was booked here for a work trip. I was scheduled to arrive after the normal check in hours. They provided very clear and precise check in instructions through email. However, when I arrived, the Inn keeper, Kelli waited for me even though even though she didn’t need to. The property was spotless. The amenities, such as juice, coffee, water & snacks were terrific and complimentary. The room was spacious and the bed was huge & comfortable. The common areas were beautifully decorated. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the area. I felt personally catered too and taken care of.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We stayed at the Firefly in for 3 nights and absolutely loved the room. This Inn has all you can eat snacks (chips, crackers, peanuts, etc) coffee, yogurts, milk, oat milk, and some chocolates.

The room felt CLEAN (like really clean !). There are lounging rooms for dining and for just sitting around to enjoy a good book. The backyard has a bag toss game and chairs to lounge around (it was too cold for us to sit outside but it was beautiful)

There is parking available next to the inn which is very convenient. There are a few restaurants near by which are really walking distance and pretty good.

The fireplace was a life saver as it was about 6C (42F) outside which was super cold given where we are from is normally 30C (86F)

The toilet paper rolls are also very funny (look at the photos 😜)

Will we stay there again ? Absolutely !

Absolutely perfect! This was my second time at the Victorian with the Kent collection and both times did not disappoint. So much thought and detail has gone into this property. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it is meticulously clean and little details of hospitality throughout the entire property. Not to mention Kellie and Joe are absolutely incredible wonderful hosts! Do not pass up an opportunity to have a visit here!

What a lovely hotel/inn. We booked it for work so didn't get to fully enjoy all the nooks and coziness. Each room was spacious and nice. Loved the touch with the coffee, water and snacks provided. Would love to return with a group of friends for a weekend. The owner was lovely via email (never met in person).

Simply put, The Victorian is gorgeous. I stayed in "The Yellow Room" which was cozy, elegant and delightful. The bed featured crispy white linens and was beyond fluffy and deeply comfortable. The common areas are pristine and feature a well stocked kitchen and bar area with snacks, cold beverages and coffees. I would come back here at any opportunity. Also, the people who work at The Victorian are lovely.

The Firefly is an amazing place. Clean, spacious, comfortable bed and linens.|Feels like you’re in your own home. I highly recommend it!!!! We felt very safe. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The overall hotel is immaculate ! Can’t wait to book our next stay.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT! Nestled in the most wonderful part of a Connecticut is the best kept secret in the world. The Kent Collection - I will return every year. I went with friends and family and we had a blast! The staff there are incredibly helpful and nice, they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was absolutely perfect.
