Make sure you watch the story unfold on both sides. If you're early, sit on the benches or grab a drink at the Cellar Peanut Pub as you wait. A local gentleman that was out for an evening stroll stopped and explained the story and history.

This is a very pretty place. Looked about after eating at #dutchfix. Fun. Missed the Glockenspiel though. Flowers are vibrant and well taken care of even during this drought. Pella takes care of things and creates beauty.

Need to check out both sides. Thought it was the same display on both sides, but it has different characters on each side. We had to go back 2 hours later to get the full effect. Definitely worth it. Music/display is every 2 hours from 11am-9pm

A cute area. Pretty flowers.

The show last about 5 minutes and starts right on the hour.
It begins on the street side then switches to the inner side.

Make sure you check the times for the figures appearance (like 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 5:00) and make sure you watch from both sides as they have different figures (Street side first then court side) on each side. It is a neat experience, but if you are pressed for time & cannot easily be there at the set show times, do not feel like you have missed out too much. The area itself is beautiful and worth a look!

It was a glorious idea and I really love the entrepreneurship that thought of it. The downtown has some lovely urban renewal. Lots of cute shops. But the actual Klokkenspel was cheaply made and therefore the sound isn't quite right anymore and the moisture within makes it hard to see the statues.

The bells are pretty, the actual figurines are not so amazing. Too bad they are not more animated. Well kept area, very clean. A neat gimmick in a cute little town.
