Wow! This place has changed so much! Everything was so clean and new! We had a great trip! The new management was spectacular!!! The rooms are so clean and well taken care of now!! Jamie was sweet and accommodating!!!

Beautiful slightly faded railway Hotel/ coaching Inn. It has expanded over the years but I was pleased to be in the older part. Good sized room, efficient bathroom. The room was undoubtedly comfortable, but too hot for me and my dog - we had the electric fan on for most of the night. The bed was too soft for me (as they often are in hotels). Main reason for booking here was that it is dog-friendly - my little dog was very happy and only left alone for breakfast (although I'm sure that I could have eaten in the bar with him).||And, dog or no dog, you must visit the garden after dark - magical!

Stayed here 2 years ago in the lodge so decided to bring our 5th wheel to visit the area again and catch up with friends! |The clubhouse no longer open daily, the laundry facilities aren’t working! The golf course is shut down, Vince says he’s subdividing course into lots for homes! Shameful, this facility has such potential, poor management has made this iconic golf course that’s been here since 1920’s is in such disrepair is just terrible!!

This is the first time at The Lodge and it has been fairly enjoyable. I came here on recommendation of one of my coworkers who had stayed here a couple of times. The folks that run The Lodge are very accommodating and have worked hard to keep quite since I am working nights. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The room appears to have a new heating and air unit which gets very warm real fast. The room comes with satellite tv, microwave oven, refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine and iron. While staying at The Lodge you have access to a nine hole golf course, if golf is not your game the owner said you can fish in the ponds which she said are stocked with bass and perch. For the price good little clean motel that is out side of the city limits of DeQueen.

We loved our peaceful stay a the lodge. The front desk lady was nice and we loved our cleaning lady. She kept plenty of fresh towels , coffee , sugar and soap. Our room was always kept very clean throughout our whole two weeks. We would definitely reccomend our stay to others.

We were traveling from TX to MO and needed a place to stay. This hotel was a welcome sight after a long day of travel. We got there after dark and they had put our room key in our room as we were to late for the office. Was not sure about it but the reviews were great. Opened the door and was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was, little dated but clean. Bed was very comfortable and price was great. Would stay again if driving through.

Pleasantly suprised. Room is basic but much cleaner than most chains I have stayed at. Great view of the golf course and old farm house. Very quiet at night. Pool looks nice. If you like Southern Cooking, check out The Ranch House just down the road, terrific pies and hearty breakfast fare!
