Our company had our annual Holiday Party at The Main House Events, and it was the most perfect venue!

The venue was warm and inviting, and had plenty of room for our roughly 100 person event. The caterers had easy access to the kitchen, music played throughout the whole venue, we had a separate bar area that guests could grab a drink and step away from the chaos for a moment, and the staff was extremely kind and responsive to our needs.

We cannot wait to host our party here next year, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any functions I have coming up!

The place was elegant and beautiful James and Kortney know what they are doing. I highly recommend booking your wedding, class reunion, or any kind of special event here. My kids and I enjoyed our time at the Main House.

The place had everything I needed from kitchen and dressing room to large area for tables and dance floor. The layout is perfect for catering food and hosting a DJ!!! The place is gorgeous and there's plenty of parking for larger events!!!

Sweet owners, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this place as a wedding venue. The chairs and tables may be catered for a specific style, but I personally found them hideous, as well as much of the furniture in the home. The main room was small and cramped, especially with the tables in. They were very wishy washy about their ability to have a rehearsal the night before the wedding, "because there might be an event." That's absolutely ridiculous. The event is the freaking wedding that people are paying for, and that should take priority. Not to mention, the upstairs area that has no specific date on when it would be available.

It just could not work as a wedding venue. We ended up losing the money we deposited, but in return, we got a much more spacious, beautiful venue. The owner here declined a refund, which is fair as it is stated in their contract, and instead offered that we could hold a different event at their venue. Now that was laughable as the problem is the venue for me was too cramped and the aesthetic problematic, so why would I still go ahead and hold another event there? I don't know what they do with money they don't return, but I hope since we likely won't use the venue for anything, that they at least update their chairs.

For those considering this as a venue, I would proceed with caution. I would definitely be sure to see the chairs and tables in the room first and make sure everything is to your liking before proceeding so you don't end up making such a huge blunder of a mistake like I did. Good luck!

Edit: seeing as the owner replied, the chairs were set up in the room, and they specified that even the chair set up would be different and facing the window. So yes, when I came the second time, the tables and the chairs were out together, and you could see how small the space was.

I was personally clear from the beginning about not liking the chairs, arch, or furniture in most of the rooms. I was open about how much I loved the bridal suite, and I do still stand by that, as I think that's the highlight of the space. My fiance however did love the venue in general, so if I can compliment anything, I'd say those who love it will truly love it. I just don't think I'm the audience they're targeting.

Their rehearsal yes can be done on the Thursday before, my issue was that they weren't SURE if there would be an event or not the Friday before. My point is that that's silly if there's not already an event scheduled, that should be prioritized for the ones having their wedding there. Now, they don't have to agree with that. I just think it doesn't make sense to me, personally.

My daughter chose The Main House Events for her wedding venue. The owners are wonderful. They made our experience amazing. The space is absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have been any happier on her special day. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an event space!
