On Saturday March 25th I attended a Sweet 16th party for a young lady. The decorating was beautiful, above and beyond. The food selection was excellent. The dance floor was spacious for dancing. The surrounding area was clean and orderly. The person in charge is very friendly and engaged with those in attendance. I will return again in the near future. Thank you!

The venue itself is nice, but the personnel is awful. The owner of the venue stayed at event beginning to end, babysitting the guests making ppl feel uncomfortable (keep in mind it was a 60th birthday party, no children) and making suggestions…infringing on personal space. She tried to keep the balloon garland that I paid 400$ and gave me an attitude that I decided to pop it ( I knew she was trying to reuse it for someone else and charge them full price…smh) the bar tender literally had an attitude with almost every person who ordered a drink. Several of my guests came to me complaining about her. We paid to have the bar tender the venue chose and a signature drink that was very diluted. We were told we couldn’t bring in our own alcohol due to liability issues. However, she doesn’t have a legal liquor license, so that was just another way to up charge us on the venue. We rented professional catering sterno’s for the food. However, the fuel wasn’t included. We didn’t find out about it until the caterer was there setting up and it was an additional charge after the fact.. the bar was not stocked with any ice or cold drinks, we provided all of those things. Which we didn’t know about till the last minute either.. she left props out in the back of the venue that were there for a previous event that clashed with our color scheme. When I asked her if she could put them away, she told me she didn’t have time to remove them from the event space. Also, I asked her to please vacuum the floors sweep and mop, the dance floor prior to the guest arriving. When we returned to the event space after the initial set up, she did none of the above. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Staff is terrible. The venue is nice and spacious but if you’re OK with poor service ,minute charges and the venue owner ripping you off… then this is your place!!!

My niece recently hosted her birthday party there this weekend. When we first discovered this place we were excited to have found something that was local, as my family throws a lot of parties and events. But I was highly disappointed at the service we received this weekend. To start, when we arrived at our designated set up time the hall was not ready. The owner and her assistant was still cleaning up from the night before. So as we were setting up they were actively cleaning. The whole time she was rude and giving us attitude. When asked why she was cleaning during our set up time she stated “if I had to clean the room right after every party then I would have to charge more.” Which is not true. We were the only booking for that day. She had all day to prepare the space for us and simply chose not to.
When we arrived there were 2 back drops set up, a buffet setting, and a DJ setting. None of which was included in the rental of the space as she stated, but was not removed prior to our booking time. We had a DJ who had all his own equipment, so that was fine. But she refused to move her DJ equipment (speaker, facade, and table) from the floor to allow the DJ to set up his equipment. The items weren’t removed until roughly 650 and the party started at 7, the speakers however were never removed from the space, just pushed back into a window sill. As for the backdrops, had to pay on the spot for use. The buffet set up was not included, so as we were preparing to bring in the food she was taking down the station. When we asked if we can pay on the spot she told us $15 for use. After the money was sent she said “no I meant $15 per chafing dish”, which she never stated.
Days before the start of the party it was communicated that there be an option for patrons to pay by card for the cash bar, as the party was starting she said she couldn’t provide this, even tho it was already confirmed and communicated to guests that this would be an option. I had to personally go home and make my own signage with QR codes so guests would be able to purchase drinks from the bar. As I said the party started at 7, the paid bartended didn’t arrive until 645. Despite the bar being fully stocked with glasses, we were told that the use of glasses was also NOT included in the booking and her and the bartender would have to decide on a price for the use of glasses. They wanted to set a price for each individual glass used because “when people drink they drop things and the glasses break”. We ended up having to buy our on cups, because the plastic cups the bartender had was only for the drinks she would serve. So if guests wanted a soda or anything, they were advised to drink from the can.
Lastly, as the party was going on the owner decided to order food (she remained on site the entire party) and instead of leaving out of the side door and meeting the delivery person, she had the delivery person walk thru the party with her food as speeches were being given.

Then whole experience was shockingly rude and my family as a whole was very disappointed in her lack of professionalism. We had at least 5 parties planned between now and September but will gladly take our business elsewhere

I have the pleasure of hosting my daughters graduation party at this venue and we were pleased ! The decor , the ambiance , and management . I also catered food (as a vendor) for an unrelated event , and management was pleasurable . Just remember decor , dishes , burners , it’s all an upsale . It’s not a free service
