Brought a ticket to the house and you start off in the visitor center which is also a museum giving the history of Twains life and career. It was very interesting and I did learn some things I didn't know before. The actual tour of the house is cool it's very beautiful sadly they don't allow pictures of the inside but it was very cool and luxurious for it's time

I love this place! Wish I had more time to explore the house. Surprised by the indoor garden, so peaceful and beautiful. now I switched my laptop background to it. The kitchen system is also really nice. The tour is totally worth it, make sure to book ahead of time.

I have been a fan of Mark Twain since childhood, I finally had the joy of visiting The Mark Twain House and Museum with my daughter this Summer. We booked tickets in advance for a Living History Tour, and had the good fortune of having Olivia as our guide. Olivia portrayed Susy Clemens, Sam's daughter, with such intelligence and feeling, that our tour truly transported us to his time. Visiting along with her the marvelous house Twain built went beyond our expectations - every room a treasure trove. To see his desk, in particular, a moving experience. The exhibits in the annex were also excellent, as was the carefully curated shop. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting - every Twain admirer should have the opportunty.

This was a very cool spot to visit. My girlfriend and I, along with my son and his girlfriend visited and took the tour. It was a beautiful home, and the tour guide was mostly informative, she was very quiet, even in the quiet house, but she did a great job answering questions and explaining the home's history and facts about Mark Twain and his family.

Stopped by here on a whim and so glad we did. We did not take the house tour due to limited time but did get some pictures with the lego statue and the bronze one inside the museum. We also walked in the museum store and met a very nice associate who welcomed us and answered any questions we had. We purchased a beautiful Christmas ornament there. We also walked outside of the house and in the garden. It was a good short day there. Next time we plan on going on the tour. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.

What an amazing museum! This beautiful house has very unique architecture and smells so unusual, it smells like an old, very old and good friend... A lots of history, original furnitures, chandeliers, painting, old library... I felt I went back to XIX century

Iconic. One of the best house tours I’ve been on—went with the maid actress and she was a fantastic guide! No photos inside the house just trust me it’s worth the visit. So beautiful.
