The staff at this establishment are just fantastic. So kind, swift and helpful! The shakes are fantastic, I personally love that they do not add sweeteners (or if so very little). Their salads are chock full of wonderful toppings and they make excellent sandwiches.

We had our wedding at Marketplace this weekend and it was amazing. We live in Canada and Brita made the planning so easy from afar. She made sure every single detail was sorted. They completely transformed the space for our wedding reception and it was so beautiful! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We even took our leftovers home and had a big meal the next day. Huge thank you to everyone at Marketplace who made our wedding day so perfect! ❤️

Wonderful place for locals and visitors alike to have a bite to eat and some time to socialize. Last time I was here was decades ago when I had friends living in the area. Even more vibrant now as the town has more visitor traffic. Indoor and seasonal outdoor seating, but no table service. Sandwiches and wraps are very good, but be sure to order sides and beverages when placing an order because everything is a la carte.

Stopped into the Marketplace on the green in Guilford for lunch. What a treasure this place is. My husband is vegan happily they had options for him as well. It’s a walk up to the counter and order type of place with many many choices from deli to bakery coffee etc. Plenty of seating indoors and out. I noticed one of the soups of the day was a creamy carrot and dill needless to say I couldn’t resist it. It was delicious flavorful and creamy with just the right amount of dill. I asked for the curried chicken salad on a croissant it was so good a little sweet a little spice everything you’d want in a curried chicken salad. My husband went for the house made veggie burger which he absolutely loved. We will definitely return,

This is the Southwest Salad Yum! It's enough for a few meals! I had it with shrimp, you can usually get it with steak or chicken. The lady who made it for me was super sweet, staff friendly and nice.

Nice place off historic Guilford green. Has old general store vide but focused on food. Open floor plan well laid out with tables inside and out. Ordered cubano cashier had limited knowledge when asking questions. Sandwich creators were attentive to details and nice. Cubano lacked flavor ham was sliced domestic boiled. Pulled pork lacked flavor and smoke. No mustard. Matcha frappachino was Watered down Cashier/barista could care less about us. We sat and waited for drink order with our sandwiches for 10 minutes near where finished orders are placed only to find the drinks near the cashier without any communication. Service needs to care more
