The Monastery is simply fantastic! Cannot speak highly enough about our experience. Beautiful venue, great food, and wonderful people.

Meg set us up for success from the start, answering all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Kris made sure everything ran seamlessly on the big day. Every detail was perfectly executed, thanks to their thoughtful coordination. The entire day was organized and on time, yet it never felt stressful. Even when my bustle broke, Kris stepped in and fixed it without missing a beat. One of our favorite touches was being able to eat privately during cocktail hour, something we didn’t even realize we needed until the team made it happen. Kris checked in on us throughout the evening and even followed up a month later, which was incredibly sweet. Marrying my partner was the best decision I’ve ever made, but hosting our reception at the Monastery was a very close second.

The Monastery Event Center is a fantastic venue where you can do it all. We photographed a wedding here this past July and it was fantastic. It is amazing to be able to have your ceremony and reception all at one location. This allowed our couple to have plenty of relaxation time together and eliminated the stress of driving around to several locations.The wedding coordinator, Kris, was so helpful, communicative, and kind throughout the entire process from beginning to end. We cannot wait to return back to photograph at this beautiful venue!

I was searching for a good spot in Cincinnati for street photography when a friend recommended Mt. Adams. On my first visit, the striking structure atop the hill immediately caught my eye. Though it was around 7:00 pm and the sky was somewhat cloudy, I managed to capture a few shots despite the intermittent sunlight. This historic location is fantastic for photography, and I plan to return under different weather conditions.

Our family worked with Meg Powers, Sales Director and Kris Kellerstrass, Director of Events, and their teams, for our daughter's and son-in-law's wedding reception late in February, 2025.

The event was magnificent. Everything was perfect. The team enabled amazing memories and experiences that we and everyone in attendance will never forget. It would be hard to count the number of people who have conveyed to us extremely high praise for the event and everything about The Monastery.

I can’t recommend the Monastery Event Center enough. We had our June 2024 wedding there and it was the perfect backdrop for our big day. The staff is amazing to work with and helps you plan all of the details for your event. The owner takes immense pride in the building and it shows. Our guests also told us that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!

The Monastery is absolutely hands down, the best place to have a wedding. My, now wife and I were blown away by the venue when we had a tour and booked the venue.
Now having just had our wedding there, it was even more perfect. Amazing staff, top to bottom. Shout out to kris for all wedding day questions and coordinating with vendors and behind the scene staff. She is absolutely amazing. Everything we did at this venue was perfect, lighting, music, food, drinks etc.
My wife and I are both blown away by The Monastery the staff and location. All family from out of town can’t stop talking about it and that’s what you want. To leave a lasting impression! A++
