I am constantly changing my mind and my daughter has gone from Dark black hair to a beautiful lived in blonde. My son & husband get amazing cuts by Amber !

Since discovering Kate a few years ago, I have committed to her as my go- to hair guru, because she is the absolute best. Her warm, outgoing personality makes visiting the Mur Salon extra special. Kate has a special eye in creating the perfect hairstyle every time I meet with her. I always walk out of the salon feeling rejuvenated and so thankful that I have someone as amazing as Kate in my corner. Everyone needs a hair artist like Kate, who always exceeds my hair expectations and brings such a beautiful energy into this world.

I have been a client of The Mur Salon for a few years now. I specifically see Dee (the owner) for vivid work, but I have received treatments from Arianna and I have taken my son to see Kate for a haircut as well.

My most recent visit was in March when I took my son for a haircut. Having been the recipient of some not ideal experiences in the past he was very nervous about it. Kate took the time to sit with him, look at some pictures of what he wanted, and she went slow with the cutting, asking him every step of the way if it was enough, did he want more taken off, how he was doing… After, she made a point to give him her card with her cell number on it letting him know that if he had ANY questions about styling or if for any reason in a couple of days he wasn’t happy with it or needed something changed, to text or call her. My kid was happy with his haircut for the first time since 2019 and THIS is incredible service.

The client service, the artistry and the devotion to their craft is WHY it is so worth it to me to make the time and drive 45+ minutes to The Mur for myself and my son’s hair.
Every single professional at The Mur is exactly that.

This past weekend I got my hair done by Sierra, I was lucky enough to follow her to the Mur Salon where she is THRIVING! Sierra took her time to understand exactly what I was looking for and asked me how I was doing throughout the entire cut and color process. Also , she explained what she was doing every step of the way which made me feel super comfortable! Everyone at the Mur Salon was so welcoming which made my experience even better!

I was in desperate need of a haircut and looking for someone who had experience with curls. I was hesitant on going somewhere new, but I found Gina at the Mur salon and I am beyond grateful I did! She was able to get me in the same day which was amazing because my hair needed serious help! I felt so confident that Gina knew what she was doing from the moment we starting going over what my hair needed to be healthy and happy again. She took her time and explained everything she was doing and I even learned some new styling tips. I've never experienced a salon like The Mur Salon, it's such a fun vibe, it's clean and you feel comfortable being there. A huge shout out to Gina for bringing my curls back to life! I will certainly be back and will highly recommend The Mur Salon!

I love coming to the Mur and Sierra is simply amazing at what she does. She is so knowledgeable and artistic with her work that I pretty much always give her creative control when I see her. She will take an inspo picture and make your hair come out 10x better. Or she’ll just work her magic and mix up BEAUTIFUL colors and execute the PERFECT cut to completely change your hair for the better. My hair is a custom deep and dark red wine color Sierra produced and it compliments my eyes and skin tone so well. I have never gotten compliments on my hair before seeing Sierra, and now it happens all the time. I have been rocking it for a while and love it so much that I kept it for my wedding. There is only one person I trust to do my hair and that’s Sierra. She did my hair for my wedding, and when I say I felt like a regal princess……. It was GORGEOUS.

I can’t recommend The Mur enough. The salon is beautiful. The staff is incredibly kind and fun. And you will walk out of there feeling like you can take over the world. I won’t shut up about The Mur, and now every woman in my family goes there (some coming all the way from Brookfield!).

Gracie was wonderful!! My daughter was a little apprehensive about getting her hair cut and Gracie put her right at ease! The cut went great! Gracie took her time and asked my daughter throughout the cut how she was doing and how she wanted the cut to be. She explained what she was doing and why and also how to get the look she wanted when styling it!
My daughter is thrilled with her new hair! Great salon! Everyone was very welcoming! Would definitely recommend to others! Thank you to Gracie and The Mur Staff!!

The Mur Salon is such a comfortable place to go get pampered! The stylists are very friendly and supportive - both to customers and each other! The stylists make sure you have anything you need to enjoy your time there and they truly enjoy their craft! I’ve been seeing Sierra for almost a year, and I’ve always left the salon feeling happy and confident! If you’re looking for a change or willing to try somewhere new - I highly suggest The Mur Salon!
