Iโ€™ve loved going here since I was a child and I now bring mine here every few years or so. It would be amazing if they had more money but they do well with what they have. Itโ€™s nice to see theyโ€™ve opened a lot more stuff up in the last couple of years.
The trolley appears to run on the half hour fyi. Its fun and Id recommend it. Get there on the hour, check things out for a half hour, take the ride, then look at whatever you missed or you want to see again.
I believe you can use the same ticket to get multiple rides in a day but not sure there is quite enough to do there to be able to really wait through the hour between trolley rides multiple times.

So we went to the Ghost Trolley event. It was a unique experience. It was a fun event. Kudos to the actors who made it possible.

Small hidden gem. Nice for a family outing and some history. The kids had fun, but definitely something you only need to see once or every once in a Blue moon. Affordable, attentive and friendly staff. No complaints here.

A very special place where history abounds. The volunteer staff is very knowledgeable about the different trains and cars on the property.

The fact that you can walk around at your own pace and go inside of the different trains makes it really unique.

The trolley ride is a lot of fun too! You can do it as many times as you want, it runs every half hour.

Highly recommend a visit, even if you aren't a train enthusiast.

A hidden gem of Columbus especially if you know a train lover or have kids. The ride on the train is worth the cost because the volunteers are entertaining & made the ride so fun. Walking through the old trains is like walking through history. The staff is very knowledgeable & friendly. There are holiday events to look into as well. Admission is free but train ride costs money. Cute gifts in the shop too.

The people are very welcoming and the free short train ride is nice. I wish there were more and better restored trains and cars to walk-through.

This is the famous rail museum here in Worthington. I have visited to experience for Halloween Ghost trolley. This is fun for kids as they get to explore Halloween and also about the coal based rail locomotive engine and their history. The have 2-3 stationed trolley with some of the Halloween stuff and 15 min small ride in train. All the Halloween stuff is in stationary carts so on the trolley ride donโ€™t expect any scary part itโ€™s just ride. If your kids like trains then you should visit. The ticket costs 10$.

This place is a hidden gem. The cars and engines are older and alot of it needs restored but its a small nonprofit collection full of Americana and History.

They have holiday events for the kids and are run wholly by volunteers. Great place to go for a couple hours of interesting history and education.

We loved it!
