Ordered pancakes and they were undercooked A LOT! Ordered scrambled eggs and they were also undercooked. Ordered strawberries and they were mostly white in color . Was charged an extra $2 they said for scrambled eggs because of current egg prices, something I've never encountered before at any restaurant. Didn't help that it was so chilly in the restaurant we didn't take our coats off . Just seemed like they were cutting coats a little too much . Won't be returning, too expensive and the quality is not there . I bet this was a great place to eat back in the 50's .

The best service and food. Went with a group of 9 but an additional 5 showed up. The restaurant was very accommodating and just made room for us. Had a wonderful time. Food was very delicious. Mostly pouched eggs.. some got pancakes.. others enjoyed salad.

Went here for the first time. I can’t believe that I have lived in the area for 10 years and I’ve never been here. It was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be back often.

Rustic, country diner with interesting breakfast dishes like walnut apple pancakes, eggs benedict, and a wide range of omelettes. While most of the food is still good here, it was inconsistent on my last visit. Bacon was undercooked, rubbery, and skinny. Toast was under-toasted. It was not as busy on this last visit probably due to the prices that have climbed sky-high. Almost $60 for breakfast for two, $4 coffee, and a credit card charge to boot. Service was good but not as friendly as in the past.

Unusually busy Saturday afternoon which (who I believe was the owner told us as we waited an hour for our food). It’s a small packed place. We showed up (family of four) and waited 30 minutes (which we were told it would be so that was fine). Then we were sat and had an attentive waitress. We ordered pretty much right away and then waited very patiently for an hour for our food to arrive. They kept apologizing for our wait even though we never once asked about our food because we could tell it would be awhile. We were told this was rare and they are never this busy. We were very patient and I assumed it would be great diner food coming my way which is why I stayed patient. When our food finally arrived I’m sorry to say that it was nothing special at all. Kind of disappointing actually when basic diner brunch entrees were an average of $16. We got the bill and with our rush to finally get out of the cramped restaurant with our kids I didn’t notice we were taxed double what we should’ve been. And now that I think of that i would expect an offer to get at least something comped for our wait time which was never offered. Instead we get double charged on the tax.
