We had such a wonderful stay at The One Cat Bed & Breakfast! From the moment we arrived, Pat and Conrad were incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home—even offering us a ride to the train station, which was so kind and appreciated.

A highlight of our mornings was spending time with Watson, their sweet kitten, who is already a delightful companion and will no doubt grow into the perfect B&B ambassador.

Breakfast each day was absolutely amazing—Pat prepared delicious meals featuring fresh, local ingredients, fruits, and homemade jams, while Conrad’s freshly baked bread and English muffins were simply scrumptious. Truly some of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had at a B&B!

Our bedroom was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, with the added charm of the cutest little kitty soaps. Every detail made our stay extra special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The One Cat and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, charming, and memorable B&B experience!

A lovely and homey place to stay! The room was comfortable and the library was great--I read two good books! Breakfast was a real highlight. Pat and Conrad are such great hosts, and Watson the kitten provides endless entertainment.

We brought our bicycles on the train and appreciated being able to bring them inside. The location close to the train station and downtown is ideal. Highly recommended!

I absolutely LOVED my stay at The One Cat! When I first drove up I was a bit wary, as the street and the houses could use a little face-lift; however, once I went inside I felt immediately at home. I was greeted by Conrad and later met Pat; two wonderful and friendly people. The downstairs of the house is filled with books and bookshelves, and, being a reader, I was in heaven. I had breakfast offered tome every morning; fresh eggs from a local farm and home-made English muffins. Yummy. I stayed in the smaller room, which was comfortable and cozy. I slept like a log as the house and street are very quiet. And the place had all of the small touches that you just never get in a hotel....cute cat-shaped soaps in the bathroom, a little fridge in the room with fresh milk and Pellegrino sodas for me, great tea and coffee in my room, little reading lights on the bed headboard, and lots and lots of books, a lovely little porch where I sat and ate and read in the evening. Pat and Conrad went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable; I honestly hated leaving! I highly trecomme3nd this place if you love books, cats (there were two) and lovely people.

We went back to The One Cat on a return visit to Brattleboro, and can again recommend staying there.||It's tucked away on a sleepy, tree lined street, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the center and the Amtrak station.||Sadly, their dear old cat Dexter died (at the age of 24!) last month, but the human hosts are as welcoming as ever.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip and had a fantastic time, despite the unplanned for thunderstorms! Pat & Conrad are the most gracious and personable hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet at a bed and breakfast. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us suggestions and tips to get the most out of Brattleboro. The room was beautiful and very cozy. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Before we even finished our trip, we were planning a return with friends. Thank you!!!

I highly recommend The One Cat. The house and rooms are comfortable and inviting and the owners - Pat and Conrad - are absolutely wonderful. My husband and I only stayed for one night, but could have happily spent a week there. The breakfast was especially delicious and thank you, Conrad, for the English Muffin recipe! I would highly recommend the One Cat to anyone visiting Brattleboro.
