Our family just returned from a one week stay at The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo. Their service was top notch, way above and beyond what we expected. A six star experience if the rating is available! The breakfast buffets were great, and the housekeeping staffs kept our room very clean. We liked the daily turn down service, as well as the complimentary fresh bottles of water, ice and chocolates. The bathroom was well lit and spacious, with a separate room for the bidet toilet. The shower area by itself maybe a bit on the small side, but water pressure was great and has a separate jetted tub. Their thoughtful amenities were plentiful, and exemplified warm hospitality! |On one particular day, the weather forecast was “sunny”, so we left our umbrellas in the room. It turned out to be a big mistake, as we found ourselves returning suddenly in moderate rain and wet all over! When we approached the hotel entrance, a staff rushed out towards us offering dry towels on a plate, so we could dry our arms and faces immediately. That was such a nice gesture as the AC indoor was comfortable and adequate, but none of us got chills since we got dried off right away! That was first class service, which was much appreciated! |We also enjoyed strolling through the tranquil, beautiful Japanese Garden twice. We look forward to staying there again the next time we visit Tokyo!

Had a fantastic experience at the Prince Sakura. It was a great place for my first time in Japan. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I loved the comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian dishes. I also enjoyed walking in the Japanese garden in the mornings and evenings.

They have addressed some key sustainability measures like plastic reduction efforts, energy and water saving, and plant-based foods. Would be great to see them take this to the next level and continue to cut plastic and offer more clarity on their efforts.

This is my first trip to Japan. I felt so fortunate to stay in this beautiful hotel. The most amazing part was the service.

It’s a rainy day and I’m craving for something warm and soupy but don’t want to go anywhere. Didn’t find anything on the online menu so decided to give them a call. The gentleman told me there’s probably nothing fits exactly what I’m looking for but he’s going to bring up the menu and figure something out with me. Within a couple of minutes, he’s at the door with a paper menu. After searching the whole menu, we finally landed on udon noodle soup. He told me this is a typical Japanese dish but may not quite fit my taste buds. I was so impressed by his going out of his way to help me, and decided to give this a try.

The soup hit the spot but what really hit the spot was the service. There are a lot about the hotel that are beautifully done but the most important is how it made me feel. I’m definitely coming back with my family!

Absolutely outstanding, from start to finish. This hotel is the best Marriott I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many Marriotts.||The hotel is a short walk from Shinagawa train station. Anyone coming into Haneda airport should especially consider this hotel, since you can just take the Keikyū pink line from the airport directly to Shinagawa. BTW, when you are at Haneda airport, you can just buy a Pasmo IC pass at the Keikyū counter, thus bypassing the long line of people waiting to purchase a Suica IC card.||Excellent hotel service, starting with the person who greeted us at the hotel entrance and rolled our bags into the gorgeous lobby. Our room was huge and was absolutely quiet. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was first-rate. There was a variety of supplies provided in the elegant bathroom, e.g., toothbrushes, razors, and the like. The mini-bar supplies came in handy and were not at all expensive. Our room had a coffee machine, which I did not use because I hate those stupidly wasteful pods, and a kettle for heating water, which I did use. ||We did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot speak to the breakfast offerings.|BTW, Shinagawa train station, just across the street, has a breathtaking number of good places to eat. Check them out.||The Japanese garden next to the hotel is well worth your time. Such a striking aesthetic! There’s a gong that was crafted in the 17th century, a carp pond, and a stream, among other natural and man made things of beauty.||Finally, the gym was beautiful, immaculate, well equipped, and large. One thing I learned before coming to Japan is that you need to have a special set of clean, non-street shoes for the gym. The hotel advertised shoe rental. But I brought some clean shoes to use. Do follow the rules, if you use the gym. It’s not hard, and it shows respect to do so. Americans, listen up: We have a reputation internationally for being loud and rude. And, sure enough, some American men in the gym were loud. It’s so easy to learn the rules of other cultures. These guys were clueless.

I could write pages about our wonderful short stay at the Prince Sakura hotel. First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to every single employee who made us feel at home and genuinely welcomed. The staff were, without a doubt, the most diligent and thoughtful I’ve ever encountered.

At check-in, they asked if they could enter our room while we were away. We assumed they meant the usual daily cleaning, but when we returned in the evening, we found the room perfectly prepared for the night. They had placed pajamas on the bed, brought an ice bucket and fresh water, and even provided the next day’s weather forecast on a piece of paper. Ice was also delivered every night.

The lobby’s interior is warm and spacious, while the rooms are minimalist with well-maintained, though not brand-new, furniture. The bathroom was spotless. What I really loved about the room were the amenities—samples for a four-phase skincare routine, extra face cream, and many other products, something I rarely see even in five-star hotels.

The spa and whirlpool were also highlights. There was a relaxation room with massage chairs that helped us recover from our jet lag.

The Japanese garden is even more beautiful in person—absolutely breathtaking.

Good business hotel less than 10 minutes from Shinagawa station. The rooms are large but a bit dated. Mine had a nice view of Tokyo Tower. Service is impeccable. The garden is definitely worth a visit. Gym is spacious and well equipped. The executive lounge is fairly small for this size hotel and gets mobbed between 5 and 7 pm. From 7 to 9 pm they have a cocktail hour with snacks with is much less crowded and very nice.
Even though the hotel is close to the station, it an uphill walk that might be difficult if you have a lot of luggage.

Very convenient location near Shinegawa station. Very courteous and friendly staff. The hotel is a beautiful property with very nice big and clean rooms. The breakfast buffet is limited in terms of the number of items for the price of the breakfast. I would do breakfast elsewhere in hindsight but overall I enjoyed my stay.

This is one of the best hotel I stayed in Japan. It's part of the Prince Hotel complex consist of 3 hotels from the Prince Hotel: the Prince Sakura Tower, the Prince Takanawa, and the Grand Prince Shin Takanawa. It's definitely a 5-star luxury the minute you walk in. And since it's in Tokyo, the staff will make you feel like you are staying at a 6-star hotel with their impeccable service. Unlike most Japanese hotel, the rooms are big and spacious, bigger than most US hotels, and also more grand and lavish.

The traditional Japanese garden between the 3 hotels are shared, we can visit the garden anytime. And the forest garden is just beautiful and provide you a sense or peace and serenity in one of the busiest city in the world.

The best thing about staying at the smallest hotel of the 3, the Prince Sakura Tower, is that you can do Lounge Hopping and use all the lounges of the other 2 hotel (except during breakfast hours) in addition to its own. It's own lounge is already a very good lounge by all means. But the other lounges are even more lavish and opulent.

Finally, it is also very conveniently located, about 6 min walk to the Shinagawa Station. It's got everything you can ever ask for in a hotel. But it is pricy, but IMHO, it's totally worth it.
