Had a great time here on my visit. The people and the atmosphere are so awesome and inviting. No food, but they have a great drink selection. I love that they carry local breweries as I make sure to try new beers wherever I go. We love this place. Haven't tried the pizza yet, but every table around us had one. Bartender Amy has always treated us so well. Great craft beer selection. Great ambiance. Always great live music. Fantastic date night in a small town. Will be back again and again.

Nice bar with tvs everywhere and cool things all over the walls. Every Friday live music that’s close and personal. Service is always good. Friendly and they know your name. I know cliché, but it’s nice. 🙂

The Proletariat is the coolest and most unique saloon I have ever been in! Stumbled across it while bike riding the Raccoon River Trail. Now schedule rides in that part of the state so we can stop at The Proletariat. Absolutely a "must do" if anywhere near Perry, IA.

Extremely rude bartender she treated us like we were an inconvenience I've been coming to this bar since it opened never had a problem with the service but the last 2 times the same bartender was horrible she spent all her time talking to guys at the end of the bar never once check on us the only 2 words she said to us the whole time we were there was 8 dollars time to find a new bar where we are treated like customers not an inconvenience
