We had our wedding here in June of 2024, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The property itself is magical and absolutely perfect. It doesn’t require a ton of extra wedding decor because it’s already so beautifully maintained. The property manager, Donis, went above and beyond for our families. We cannot recommend this place enough for your special event!!!

Our company had the pleasure of filming a 3D Virtual Tour for this beautiful venue. It's truly a secret garden hidden in Bodega Bay. Just steps from the Pacific Ocean, nestled under the majestic redwood trees. It feels magical like you've walked into a fairytale. Donis the manager takes wonderful care of the grounds and managing the facility. The owners are super kind, the gardens impeccable and the place truly one-of-a-kind. ☺️

I had the absolute pleasure of catering a gorgeous120 guest wedding at The Secret Gardens in beautiful Bodega Bay last night. To start with, the venue manager, Donis and his wife Stephanie are incredibly accomodating and share their knowledge of how the kitchen, parking and venue function. The venue is well thought out and a slice of heaven. You feel like you're in an enchanted forest by the sea. The guest dining, ceremony and seating areas are surrounded by lush greenery and the most wonderful breezes. Highly recommended!

From the first few steps into the gate, we knew this was the place. It’s simply magical as you look around, your blood pressure instantly drops, and your breathing slows down. The words our guests threw around on our wedding night were: beautiful, serene, enchanting, amazing, and special. The pictures online don’t do it justice, it's true beauty is in how the areas flow into each other, from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. Most of the decor is built-in, and the energy there allows for perfection and imperfection in the best ways. There are lots of spots for photo ops which also allows for flexibility in your wedding day design. You’re surrounded by redwood trees that act as a wind barrier. But keep in mind that it is Bodega Bay, so you have to plan for cold and potential rain because you cannot move the Pacific Ocean! However, even when it was raining during our rehearsal, our wedding party, in particular the men, mentioned how special the venue is and couldn’t wait to show their wives.

Big shout out to Donis!! He was new to the job when we got married (in May), but went above and beyond what was expected, taking care of a few special requests for the wedding and a medical emergency contingency during rehearsal. He did all of it with a big smile, which really reduced my stress levels. What a special place, owned and managed by special people! We’ve been reconnecting with some of our guests since the event, and the first thing they mention is how much they loved this venue.

Maybe I’m biased since it was my wedding, but this is seriously the most gorgeous wedding venue I’ve ever seen. Just as amazing was Donis the site manager, who met all of our requests and made everything flow smoothly with tons of work behind the scenes. Thank you secret gardens!!

This rating is just for the site, we did a visit, but have not had an event there yet. The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of plants, trees, and flowers. There are plenty of versatile spaces to fit groups of all sizes and customize to your likes.
