We have not had our actual wedding yet, but have the venue reserved. The owners are so nice and accommodating. The barn and grounds are beautiful. They have flowers everywhere and twinkling lights that make it look so enchanting. The price is very affordable for what they offer compared to the others we priced. We have been there twice, once to sign the contract and once to take engagement photos. Every time we go we fall in love all over again. Definitely worth checking out.

My best friends just got married here last weekend and wow what a wedding venue. Not only was it a uniqie rustic venue, their decor was noticed! Inside, outside, and even the house the bridal party was allowed to get ready in!! We had the ceremony downstairs (due to weather) and reception upstairs, and it was more than perfect! The staff (and family!) were more than accommodating and very VERY helpful (and entertaining because they were the bartenders!) !! They definitely helped my best friends wedding come true! Thank you!!

They even helped us hang a custom sign for the bride and groom to give the special touch to their ceremony. 🤗

Wow. Where do I begin? This facility is beautiful inside and out. There is no bad picture at this facility, not to mention the hospitality. Mark and Emily gave us so many ideas on vendors and had a huge selection of decor we were offered to use. They helped make the day perfect and helped keep me relax! If I had to do it all over again, I would one thousand percent choose the Shepard Place. Kudos to Emily and Mark- you know how to put on a beautiful and fun wedding!

We were so thankful for the opportunity to have our baby shower at The Shepard Place! The venue is so beautiful and Emily went out of her way to make sure our special day was ready to go and successful! She provided so many amazing decorations. The Shepard Place was the perfect venue for our wedding. Everything was extremely professional and organized. Marco and his family did a great job setting up and running the bar, and they were a lot of fun!

Emily did an amazing job coordinating everything on our wedding day. We unfortunately had a florist cancel on us at the last second, but Emily stepped in to make sure that we had flowers for our wedding day. She is awesome!

If my husband and I had to do it all again, we would 110% choose The Shepard Place again. It's an absolutely beautiful, rustic venue with little details to add elegance. All throughout the rehearsal dinner and reception we were told how beautiful the venue was. And I can't say enough great things about the staff! Emily went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day vision came to life. She was so easy to work with and talk to and made sure there wasn't any detail unthought of! With so many moving parts in planning a wedding it was so comforting to know The Shepard Place was continually working in the background to make sure it all blended together! The scenery around the barn was just as amazing. With so many different spots to choose from, it looks like we traveled to multiple places in our photos! The location is just far enough away from Troy to not have lots of traffic driving by during our outdoor ceremony but it was still close enough to make last second errands and family traveling very convenient. The perfect location!! I would recommend The Shepard Place over and over again. They were the perfect venue for my husband and I as well as the perfect staff to work with when it came to planning a wedding!!

We had a wonderful experience at a wedding reception at the Shepard Place. The interior was magical, with beautiful decorations and lighting. There was plenty of room for 150+ guests and a good-size dance floor. The staff was great at making everybody feel at home.
