I don't even think I have the words to accurately describe how incredible Krista is. She is a light in this world. I have done a few shoots with her now but most prominent is my wedding, which she also helped plan. Her creative vision is unparalleled and her professionalism is top notch. She understood our nontraditional approach to our wedding perfectly. She also kept the day of my wedding running smoothly (which I hired her to do as also being a wedding planner). My husband does NOT like being in front of a camera and Krista and her associate Seran both made him feel incredibly comfortable. To the point that he has even offered to do model shoots for Krista if she needs a couple, something I never would have expected from him in the past. The success and beauty of my wedding day is purely Krista's handiwork. Not to mention the photos are GORGEOUS.

Krista is TOP NOTCH!! We have used her twice for our family Christmas photos. The experience was truly magical... all grumpy moods upon arrival were erased once we started! She is a pleasure to work with and puts everyone at ease, making the experience so playful, fun, and full of joy. Her photos are beautiful, with a natural, unique aesthetic. Our album was turned around super quickly. I would work with her over and over again!

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and amazement over Krista and The Studio Arcane’s quality of work! My husband and I had a very unfortunate experience with a previous photographer who ghosted us only a few months before our wedding. After making a frantic posting on a local Facebook group, Krista reached out to me and made a custom photography plan with us. Not to mention, she was always on top of replies and communication in general (which was so wonderful and not what we were used to)! Krista certainly was the savior of our wedding. Photography is SO important to me, and so is the “feeling” of what special moments are captured. Krista’s presence at our wedding truly added to those special moments that my husband and I shared with each other and our guests. Her kind spirit and gentle demeanor made it so easy to “pose” for photos, especially for two awkward DnD players like me and my husband! 🙂 Krista’s photography skills are immeasurable and absolutely breathtaking. WOW! Krista is THE BEST! Two happy brides in Southbury, CT! Krista came to our rescue last-minute as our scheduled photography company went bankrupt. Everything happens for a reason and we could not have been happier to have chosen a local, small business. Krista absolutely blew us away and our families and friends keep commenting on her persona, positive vibes, and especially artistic, BEAUTIFUL photo style. Krista has such a keen, creative eye and shared FABULOUS ideas with us (without pressure), and she truly just brought our day together in all of the best ways. We loved how Krista prefers minimal "posing" and more natural and candid shots, all while making sure that everyone we wanted in photos are shot. In addition to all of the above, Krista was making sure us brides were drinking water and eating food! Literally talking us through our day in the most appropriate and comfortable ways. Krista, getting to spend our day with you was so refreshing. We loved how we met on-site before our wedding and you assured us and talked us through our day so professionally - and you're super cool west coast vibes are just fabulous. Krista is a remarkably talented photographer! We found her on TikTok and are so glad we reached out to her. She did a family photo session and was delightfully easy to work with - she accommodated everyone's posing requests and coaxed smiles out of my kid who didn't want to have his picture taken. Krista is extremely knowledgeable about posing and gave us posing directions that resulted in beautifully arranged photos. She later did a senior session for my daughter and we loved every shot she took! Can't wait to have Krista take our photos again and again!

I met Krista and Scott at an incredible location that they suggested for my husband and I. We wanted something magical and Krista did not disappoint! My husband and I are totally awkward in front of the camera and Krista was a champ at easily relaxing us and helping us to be our natural selves. She was quick with compliments and her posing was so easy and natural, it also felt like we had our own hype woman for our entire session. We ended up having a blast and that was before we even got any photos! I’d honestly pay just to hang out with Krista again. When we received our gallery I about died. I had never been so speechless and I loved every photo, which is hard normally because I nitpick. But I had nothing to nitpick with my gallery. I look back on these photos all the time and couldn’t wait to get them printed for my wall. Thank you again! It was a blast and I will totally work with you again.

I won a package from The Studio Arcane at a bridal convention and wasn’t sure it was real because of how good a deal it was! Sure enough, they honored all of what was promised, all while relocating across the country and navigating big life changes themselves. My husband and I were happy with our day-of of wedding experience with our charismatic photographer & are more than delighted with the beautiful album we received afterwards. Also, I got pregnant quickly after getting married, and they enthusiastically congratulated me and had no problem changing a scheduled boudoir shoot to a maternity shoot down the line. Most notably, I love how thoughtful and supportive my experience with them has been. Wedding planning was not a fun experience for me and every vendor felt extractive and money focused, with an exception being The Studio Arcane! I hope their business continues to flourish, and they truly deserve it!
