Lisa and Derek were amazing from initial contact to check out! They did our ceremony at Ash Cave, they were wonderful to work with, Lisa was great taking pictures and just chatting with along the way.
We stayed several nights in the Songbird Cabin which was sweetly decorated for us. It was peaceful and relaxing.

Lisa and her husband were wonderful to work with. I contacted them last minute 4 days before we wanted to get married. She got everything lined up was honest and everything turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. The bouquet was beautiful. Their gazebo we chose due to the dry summer they have had and it was absolutely perfect. Lisa you can tell genuinely loves these small ceremonies and helping others with them! Highly recommend! 10/10!

What can I say other than WOW! My husband and I had such a magical experience. We arrived a day before our ceremony to the cabin so we could have time before to relax. The day of the ceremony, Lisa was excited to see what I looked like in my dress and asked me preferences on my flowers. She was very professional through all of it. We understood that this is more a place for elopements but they were more than willing to do our micro-wedding. Lisa took phenomenal pictures during the ceremony AND pictures of us and our family afterwards. She was quick to get our photos back to us, we had them back in 2 days! Overall, we loved our stay!! The only downsides were the driveway up to the cabins were a little rough and there’s no wifi.

Our ceremony was scheduled for 2 o’clock months in advance, just around the corner from the burnt mattress… We were at the pavilion five minutes early. At 2:05 we had to TEXT Lisa. At about 2:10 we finally got a response. Another five or so minutes later she showed up with Derek behind. She offered an unconvincing apology, Derek didn’t EVEN apologize, and went on to tell us that she and Derek had been arguing about what time our ceremony was!! WHAT!?!? If you were unsure you could have called, text, or emailed. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! This is our WEDDING DAY!! Lisa also made a comment about us being so dressed up. It honestly shouldn’t matter if we showed up to give our vows in pajamas, you are business owners and a certain amount of professionalism is expected.

After our ceremony, Lisa took pictures. As we started, she kept talking to us while taking the pictures, not giving us a chance to get ready, resulting in some goofy faces. She did offer to take pictures with our phone and her camera so we could have them right away. She was just trying to save themselves from a bad review, in our opinion.

About five minutes into taking photos, Derek began using some sort of outdoor machinery in the orchard maybe 25 yards away. They told us we were the only ceremony they had scheduled. I’m sure he could have waited. During the photos, Lisa made the comment that she just couldn’t wait for the wedding season to be over. That was EXTREMELY obvious by the way they conducted themselves. Why would you even say that?!?

The parking area near the gazebo was a mud pit. The grass leading up to the gazebo was also very muddy. We understand that no one can control the weather, but some gravel would have done wonders. For what they charged for there services, they can afford some gravel for their customer’s benefit.

Part of the wedding package includes a photo book. When we received the book we were APPALLED!! The photo on the front cover is AWFUL!! The groom’s eyes are half closed!! Who in their right mind would even include a picture like that in the book?!? Then you open it to the first page and the picture is NICE!! (I have included pictures).

Needless to say, our wedding day memories are not good. We eloped so we wouldn’t have to deal stress, to have a relaxing, wonderful day. That DID NOT HAPPEN!!! We feel that it was not worth a fraction of what we paid and these two are just out to make a quick buck. They did not make us feel special on our wedding day AT ALL!!! The only good thing about this is we are married and the parks were beautiful. Sad.
