The Water’s Edge at Giovanni’s is nothing short of spectacular. This place has been a cornerstone of so many special moments in my life—my wedding, countless memorable meals with my family and most recently, the incredible New Year’s Eve party. Once again, they exceeded every expectation.

The food? Simply perfection. Every bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. Last night, we indulged in the ravioli bolognese, filet mignon, lobster tail, lamb chops, and veal chops—all perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and absolutely unforgettable. It was, without a doubt, some of the best food I’ve ever had-and the desserts? Bada-Bing!

But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The team here treats you like family because they are family. They go above and beyond to make every visit feel personal and warm. Having dined at some of the finest restaurants worldwide, I can confidently say that this is my favorite. It’s not just about the food—it’s the experience, the people, and the love they pour into every detail. And I respect that. As an Italian myself, their values of family shine through and resonate with me. The very finest of people.

Last evening’s New Year’s Eve party was an absolute blast. The DJ/band, sort of a combo thing, kept the energy alive all night, and the dessert spread was out of this world. It was the perfect way to ring in the new year, and I’m already looking forward to next year—I’ve already made my reservation, God willing!

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at The Water’s Edge at Giovanni’s for everything you do. You’re truly the best of the best. If you haven’t visited yet, do yourself a favor and make it your next destination. You won’t regret it.

Natalie and her team are absolutely incredible! I had the pleasure of working as a planner for a wedding at their venue, and the entire experience was seamless and flawless. Company holiday party was enjoyed by all. Staff was very attentive and ensured the entire evening flowed without issue. Chris routinely checked in as did the staff. Everyone was lovely! Food was delicious! Decor/linen choices were perfect.
There were multiple parties going on at the same time and it never felt as if we were competing. Only comment I would make is there could have been more valet to expedite the line of cars due to the multiple parties.
Looking forward to our next party at waters edge!

I worked with Natalie at Giovanni’s. She is amazing, accommodating, and doesn’t make you feel like you are bothering her when you pepper her with questions all day (I’m sorry Natalie!) We had a very unexpected circumstance that occurred which Natalie didn’t hesitate to work with us on.

If you’d like stellar service with a coordinator that is really there for you, ask for Natalie. She’s amazing.

Such a classic local spot top 7 in the area at least for family parties. Threw a surprise 70 here and was so good. Here is the thing it’s laid back and it is fancy at the same time you can tell my spouse hey throw on that little white dancing dressing and the old shoes and still feel like king and queen and show her a good time to fall in love all over again. It is that type of place. Its like is she going home with the man under the sink or price charming because we are the same .Food is tops and so is the service and the romantic vibe

This family owned restaurant is a rare experience from so many restaurants that are owned by restaurant groups. Here you meet the family, and their staff is “family”.
While they are off the beaten path of restaurant rows, it is well worth the trip.
The cuisine is well curated and the portions are generous. The wine dinners featuring various vineyards are really special. If you want a noisy experience with mediocre food, this it not your restaurant.

I live in Maryland but booked this restaurant for my mom's birthday dinner with my three sisters. They advised me they had an amazing time because the service was impeccable, and the staff, especially their server Douglas , provided professional and friendly service that left my mom beaming!
Now, the food. My mouth watered looking at the menu, but to hear how delicious the food was, I will plan a trip to Connecticut just to partake in the culinary delights offered at Giovannis.
I want to extend a personal thanks to Douglas for being amazing at what he does and to everyone who took time to ensure mom's celebratory dinner went well!
