The Wildflower 301 Wedding Venue - Greensboro, Georgia

We just got married at The Wildflower 301 at the end of July and words cannot express how grateful we feel to have found this magical venue. We are from out of state, and did not even have a chance to look at the venue in person before we booked it for our wedding, but the pictures had us sold. And we were not disappointed! The grounds were absolutely stunning! So many flowers were in bloom and you can tell the gardens are well cared for all year long. The butterflies were also magical! We especially loved the ceremony area including the arch, and the granite stones leading throughout the gardens. The stones were the perfect touch to add to that special secret garden feel. All of our guests were in awe of just how truly gorgeous the property was.

The reception area was incredible too! We had plenty of space for over 100 people, a DJ, and a live band. I loved that the food area was separate from the dining area and that they had a whole bar section. The team did a great job of displaying the signature drinks we had and serving all of our guests.

The entire staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, especially since I was trying to plan a wedding from so far away. They were all super responsive from the day I signed the contract, to the end of the wedding. For instance, I really wanted to have the ceremony outside, regardless of the weather. The owner, Shauna, encouraged my idea and said of course we can make that happen! Then she came out with 100 clear umbrellas to show me that it was possible! That kind of service does not come from just anywhere! It was evident that she had thought of every detail to make sure every wedding goes smoothly and that the couple getting married is more than satisfied and have the perfect day regardless of the weather, or anything else.

The catering was also magnificent. The whole staff working were professional and friendly to all, and the food was absolutely delicious. A whole month later and I still have people calling and raving about just how good the food was! I am still thinking about some of the food we had! I also love that we were able to get a to go box for us for the next day. That was an extra sweet touch.

We used their list of preferred vendors and could not have been happier that we did. They were all more than familiar with the venue and knew exactly where to get the best shots and angles. I am so glad that The Wildflower 301 team took the time to carefully pick who they recommended to make the whole process easier and smooth for me.

Overall, we could not have been happier with the service and quality of this venue. It was even better than we could have imagined? I highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We got married at the Wildflower 301 in early October. The gardens were gorgeous and full of butterflies. If you are looking for a manor/garden/estate wedding, this is your place. I did have a couple of cons to mention though to help inform anyone that may be thinking about the venue:
1.)The venue doesn’t allow access until 11 AM. Our hair and makeup artist had to come to our Airbnb at 8 AM to start hair and makeup and then transition to the venue to continue so that everyone could be done in time. I think the venue should allow access earlier.
2.) We were not able to rehearse the night before so we had to rehearse at 10 AM the morning of our wedding. If you aren’t planning to see your significant other the day of your wedding until the ceremony, this could be an issue for you.
3.) The venue staff were notoriously difficult to get ahold of in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I had emailed multiple times, called and had it go straight to voicemail, etc. I eventually had to enlist my coordinators to assist in calling/emailing in the hopes that one of us would get a response.
4.) I understand the need to offer tours so that others can see the venue (obviously we had a tour before we booked). However, there was a tour happening during our rehearsal and our team was trying to get ceremony decor set up while this tour was also happening. I don’t think tours should be allowed on the day of an event.
5.) When we got access to the reception space, the area was full of bees. They must have left the doors open that morning and had allowed a ton of bees inside. They were all over the walls. We had to enlist the help of the landscaping team to get rid of all the bees before our guests arrived.

The venue really was beautiful and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else to get married. I just wanted to list the few things that were inconvenient/not so great about the venue to help couples make the most informed decision possible and so that you are not surprised by any of this on your big day.

We had our wedding at Wildflower 301 recently, and we could not have had a better day. The gardens were in bloom, the weather was perfect, and everything about the staff and venue experience was top notch.
Our guests were talking about how beautiful this venue is the whole time, how much they loved the food, and what a wonderful celebration we had.
As the bride and groom, we were more than satisfied with the service from the venue staff. We'll never forget our day at the Wildflower 301. It's a magical place!

My experience with The Wildflower 301 was everything beautiful!!

Nicole was amazing and we greatly appreciated all of her timely responses to our many questions and her help throughout the process. We did use an outside planner for the actual wedding, but in retrospect I wish I had used Nicole for her expertise on the venue.
As far as the venue itself, it was beautiful and perfect on the day of my wedding. My incredible family and wedding party were doing everything to keep me unaware of anything that may not have been perfect, so I may not actually be the best judge but to me everything was truly perfect. It was raining for the first half of the day and I was terrified the ceremony would have to be moved inside and I wouldn't get to be married under those beautiful arches, but the rain cleared and I still got to have the ceremony I had imagined! The guests loved it as well and I still get compliments on the venue!
Catering is another thing I may be biased about, but again I have absolutely zero complaints! My guests may have complimented the food even more than the venue. They still talk about the cranberry orange skillet bread. My family used to have a small catering business, so I know first hand how hard it can be to completely nail a buffet but your chefs NAILED it!

So basically, it was definitely 5 stars across the board for me. I sped off to my honeymoon knowing I had chosen the best venue in the state of Georgia!

How was your experience with planning services through Nicole at Always and Forever Events?

- 10/10 stars to Nicole and her team for creating a magical day for us and our family. We can't say enough about how well taken care of we felt. Nicole had us stress-free and so in love with our wedding day experience from start to finish. I don't know how she does it but she somehow transforms the whole atmosphere when she's around. Such a lovely woman. I'll never forget her warmth and fun-loving energy. She truly helped make our day one we will never forget.

- My wedding day was the first time seeing the venue in person and it was more beautiful than the photos. Any time I had a question, a Wildflower team member was quick to respond and put me at ease. 10/10 experience with every single person I've reached out to and has helped me along the way! Thank you!

Your experience with Catering and the feast for your wedding?

- 10/10 Catering was fantastic! Again, the responses were so prompt! That food was absolutely delicious. My youngest brother is the pickiest eater in our family and he couldn't get enough of the shrimp fettucine! Everything we ate we loved and really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff on the day of. We were also super grateful for the to-go plates which we ate up as soon as we got to our hotel - delicious! My personal favorite were those creamy, garlic mashed potatoes (kind of different but I'm a garlic girl through and through, haha)! Just an overall wonderful experience. I wish they had a restaurant just to enjoy that menu again.

Recently photographed a wedding here and as a photographer, we loved this venue! The staff that was working the wedding were so accommodating, friendly, professional, and we appreciated that they believed in working as a team! The venue itself is gorgeous, with both the ceremony and reception location within close proximity of each other. Our bride and groom who got married that day were so happy with the venue!

I booked a tour an ENTIRE month prior to 11/29, and traveled from ARKANSAS to Georgia to see this venue. Then week of I get a text message from Shauna stating that due to the holiday they could not do the tour, but "please let me know what's the most convenient, and I'll do my best to accommodate". I understood, Friday after Thanksgiving might be a little hard for people. I replied that I was traveling from Arkansas and the only time I could see it was the week of Thanksgiving. There was no reply. I texted back 3x (one on 11/22, another on 11/24, and the final one on 11/25) requesting another tour time and there was no response till after the 3rd text. Shauna replied " I emailed back with a like to reschedule. We wont have another time this week". They obviously don't care about people or respect their time. I wasted so much money traveling from Arkansas to see this venue. I emailed them so many questions and there was never a response. I'm glad that it did not work out. I obviously dodged a bullet. If people are paying you $12,000 + for your venue, you should do everything in your power to help. Absolutely insane.
