We are beyond grateful for the exceptional work-(The Yes Story) Tammy and Janice did for our wedding! Their attention to detail, creativity, and ability to keep everything on track made the planning process so much easier for us. They listened to our ideas and went out of their way to make our dream wedding come true. On the big day, everything was seamless, from the beautiful decorations to the flawless timeline. Our friends and family are still talking about how wonderful everything was. We couldn’t have done it without Tammy and Janice. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly professional and caring wedding planner.

Working with The Yes Story was a dream! We cannot imagine anyone else who could have planned a better wedding. We live in New York and The Yes Story was able to accommodate every detail we wanted. Tammy has a ton of industry knowledge and it shows with her recommendations - such as the wedding cake (which was a big hit at our wedding!), as well as flowers.. making sure we were within budget every step of the way.

On our wedding day we were not stressed at all as Tammy, Jaycie, and Janice kept us on pace throughout and helped make it feel like the perfect day. I'm sure there were so many small details that would have been missed without their help, I remember I had scheduled a dog sitter to pick up our corgi during cocktail hour and Janice was able to coordinate getting Cheddar back to our suite (she lured him with a piece of bread back to to our room... words cannot express my gratitude for that.. SERIOUSLY!).

Special shoutout to Jaycie! She was our lead coordinator and really helped us as we got closer to the big day. She kept track of so many details and kept it all together, since we were in NY, she helped print all the signage and helped design the dinner name cards for our guests. She was incredibly patient with all of our requests and brought our vision to life!

We feel like Tammy, Jaycie, and Janice weren't just our wedding coordinators - we felt like we've made friends for the rest of our lives and forever grateful our paths crossed! 🙂

Janice and The Yes Story Team are amazing and I would 100% recommend couples working with them! Having the team on our wedding day was the reason we were able to fully enjoy the day without any stress. We did the day-of coordination package with The Yes Story. We started actively working with Janice 8 weeks before the wedding day. Janice was able to gather all of our vendors’ information and ensure smooth communication with all of them. She also formed a detailed timeline for the day, catering to our visions and cultural traditions. Janice was super attentive throughout the whole planning process—she was always timely in replying emails, text messages, and was willing to jump on calls for any questions that arose. She listened to our vision, and was able to make it a reality!

On the day of the wedding, the team was active in decorating the space, executing the timeline, and adapting to any last minute changes. The team was kind and professional, and they made us, and all of our guests, feel welcomed and cared for. And the team’s ability to speak in both Mandarin and English was a huge plus! They were calm and friendly, and gave us all the reason to put our trust in them completely! Janice also captured a lot of behind-the-scenes moments with her phone for us, which was really special to have. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to all the hard work by Janice and The Yes Story!!

You won’t regret it for a second. Everyone at our wedding asked who our coordinator was and wanted her contact info—so book her before she gets too busy!

Now, a bit about our experience and the immense joy we felt having Janice by our side…

We booked the “Coordination Management” package, which involved Janice starting eight weeks before our wedding. We were planning a wedding in Southern California while living in Chicago, and as a Vietnamese-Korean couple, we had a complex day ahead of us, including both tea ceremonies and a Paebek (the Korean traditional ceremony), starting at 8 am and ending around midnight.

From the beginning, Janice was there to guide us through every step of the planning process. We felt welcomed, supported, and never once lost or anxious, thanks to her calm and caring presence. She ensured that all our vendors and events were in order and handled a lot of moving parts behind the scenes so that we could remain stress-free leading up to the big day.

Where Janice truly shined was on the wedding day itself, managing every detail from 8 am until midnight with grace and precision.

We had heard that the best coordinators are the ones who are super stern and draw strong lines to make things run smoothly. However, I respectfully disagree with that philosophy, and Janice is the perfect example of why. She handled all the spontaneous hiccups and emergencies with such grace that everyone walked away feeling heard and understood. Because of the way she treated everyone involved, people went the extra mile to not only resolve any issues but to make things even better than we had originally planned. She embodies the idea that “love wins all” because everything happened so smoothly and, in many instances, even exceeded our expectations.

The best part was that she never complained or showed any signs of discomfort throughout the long, demanding day. Quite the opposite, in fact—she constantly showered us with love and encouragement. Throughout the entire experience, we always felt she put us first.

We’ve heard others say they felt stressed and rushed on their wedding day, but with Janice, we truly had a relaxed and enjoyable experience while still getting everything done. She made it easy for us to completely trust and confide in her to make our dream wedding come true, and she reciprocated by coordinating the perfect day for us.

Janice was the best coordinator, supporter, pillar, and friend we could have hoped for by our side on our special day.

Tammy and Jaycie are the best! I have zero regrets for my wedding! They are professional and thoughtful in being able to help me pull together a destination wedding in less than 6 months. I had 70+ guests traveling to the wedding for us and they all had a great time. A few of my “cool” friends originally weren’t planning to have a wedding, but they told me in person afterwards that the vibe and experience of my wedding changed their mind, and now that they see this is an opportunity to meaningfully connect those across friends and family who you may not see often.
