Best kept secret in the Helen area! So peaceful and serene. Not far from town and very convienent to Unicoi State park. The rooms are adorable, well kept and clean. Two person hot tubs at every cabin and a nice picnic and fire pit area in the back! This is a must!

Very cozy cottages. Very nice weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay. Close to town. Penny was very nice and helpful. So was her husband. He met us at the cabin Helped us get in. We enjoyed the hot tub. We've stayed here before and will definitely stay again. Affordable nice and clean

We stayed here Memorial day weekend for our mini honeymoon and LOVED it. The cabin is very clean and super cozy. Also loved the hot tub and the fire pit/ picnic table area around back. We also liked how quiet the area is. You're within 10 minutes of Helen, Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi state park are even closer. We can't wait to come back and stay longer!

My husband and I stayed in Bear Paw #7 for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. The cabin was perfect for us. It is secluded but not far away for the road. It has one bedroom and a loft perfect for children. We loved thrle hottub on the porch! The cottage had a lot of at home amenities but we ate out for all of our meals. Penny the owner was more than accommodating. I felt she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and had what we needed. The location is about a 5 minute drive to downtown Helen and less than 2 to Unicoi State Park. We will definitely stay here again!

Very cute cabin and it was worth every minute. WE stayed in Cabin # 1. We were made to feel at home by our extremely nice Hosts: Penny & Shawn. We had made plans for some tubing on the river but unfortunately, we arrived during the TS Fred and was surprised by down trees in the highway (which we assisted to clear away for passing cars) and the river was way (like way) to high for tubing. So, we resorted to sightseeing in Helen since this was our 1st time there. Cute little town.||Back to the Cabin, very clean and freshly decorated. We walked around the back to see beautiful area for campfire and chairs, gazebos with BBQ sites. Beautiful area very quiet. We did not get a chance to enjoy the Jacuzzi that was right outside our front door, but we will next time. ||We had a wonderful time and hope to return in the Winter.

These cabins are absolutely beautiful! The pictures do no justice. We stayed in cabin 1 this time. The new owners have done an awesome job in making many upgrades and the entire stay felt like a home away from home! My favorite part was the personal hot tub on the porch that also has privacy curtains and a porch swing! Everything was so clean, tidy and organized. Not to mention the bed was SO comfortable!!! Anything you could have needed was accommodated in the room as well as being right down the road from downtown Helen while still being in a quiet and reserved area. The location offered a ton options for family activities. There were many places to explore and we truly can’t wait to return & stay at Timberloft Cottages again soon!

My family ended up with last minute availability to travel over winter break but so many cabins were already booked. I ended up finding timberloft and spoke with the owner directly and she had one cabin left so we booked it! Having never traveled to the area before we were unsure what to expect. This cabin ended up perfect for what we needed and definitely was within our budget. The cabins are not large but it was plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids slept in the loft and a couple nights our little one slept on the couch just to have her own space. It was sooooo much better than a hotel room! With an indoor fireplace and a private hot tub, it was literally everything we needed! If you are the type of people who want to spend less money where you sleep and have extra money to spend on adventures and being out seeing the area, it’s honestly perfection. The location is amazing and allowed us to travel to many surrounding cities including, Cleveland, Dahlonega, Blue Ridge, and Clayton (all within an hour drive) and of course Helen which is only 5-10 minutes away. We filled the days with adventure and had a cozy little cabin to come home to with a fire and hot tub to relax after hiking! Penny and her husband who own the property were amazing to work with! Everything was so easy and they were always a text away to help with suggestions, firewood, and anything else we needed. We LOVED our trip and would come back to stay 1000%!!! We can’t wait for our next trip!!

My husband and I spent our 38th anniversary in one of the Timberloft cabins (#7) in June. We had such a good time. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Awesome hot tub! The cabin was in the woods and was private even though it was just minutes to fun attractions . It was pet friendly too which was great because our dog had a fun time too. I hope to go again and stay at the Timberloft! Thank you for a wonderful time!
