What a wonderful RV Park. Stayed for the Talladega NASCAR Race. There is a free shuttle to take you to the main road and then it’s a short walk to get a tram to the speedway. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying here.

The Hatcher’s have been twice. We like the place it has been a pleasure very time people there as well. They always welcome you and the kids. The manager believe her name is Jana. That runs the place is great as well she has great hospitality. And also checks on you and makes sure you are doing ok. She definitely makes sure you are following the rules which is great. Very well campsite over all. I do like they run background checks as well. Keeps the children safe. Thank you so much Jana you’re great and allowing us to have us to experience the Time Away RV Resort. We will be back for a third time

Permanent residence campground which is fine if the sites are kept neat and the residence act properly . Unfortunately not the case here. Absolutely no regard for our personal property from our neighbor. Management is pretty much never there except to deliver the residence their mail so they have to see things, they just don't care.

Me and wife have been here mid August 2024 till October we have enjoyed our stay here at stay away, we’ve made friends and just a pleasant peaceful stay here. Manager Jana has been a blessing, we see issue and alert her of the situation and she quickly gets to it. Dog park, pool and bath house. Our pleasure will bring us back in April 2025 no doubt, remember Talladega Motorspeedway is right across the street and if you are wanting to get away from crazy traffic this is your place, shopping is just less than 20 minutes away. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, just gorgeous here gonna miss it. Thank you Jana for your dedication to those staying away here.

We were new to seeing a Nascar race(I was invited for a special breast cancer event) and Time Away had availability at a decent rate! They have great accommodations for kids. We didn't bring our kids due to my event. We will definitely bring them our next time. The owners were great! Everyone was so nice and gave us a great experience! Very accommodating! It was so close to the speedway as well!!

We stayed at this campground for several day prior to the Talladega race in April of 24. The staff was extremely helpful with our accommodations for this leg in our trip. The camp host even allowed us to stay in the first spot (1) closest to the restrooms which help out tremendously since we are all over 64 years of age.

I would highly recommend staying here to anyone that might need a quick layover while traveling or maybe a few nights to just relax by the pool.

Looking forward to our visit next year to the spring race and possibly staying here again should the timing be right.

PROS: near Talladega Race Track and freeway close; big Class A accessible; clean restroom & showers; kind gal who either manages or owns the park; large pool with lots of concrete to enjoy lounging; nice playground for kids with lots of grassy area and I believe a pavilion for gatherings; definitely potential but needs some work! The noise level was quiet but again it was a workday when we stayed.

CONS: no shade trees on the sites; only one hook in shower stall for hanging clothes, towels or shower caddy’s; no counters around sink areas; no seats or chairs inside shower stalls, seems like lots of full-time or part-time residents; @ the time of our stay in August 2024 there was no electricity in the bathroom, in the me s bathroom the paper towel holders didn’t work so couldn’t be used to dry hands;
Laundry cost $3 for washing and $3 for drying and no quarters could be given only through an app;

We only stayed as a stop over and wouldn’t stay any longer for many of the cons.
Not for us, but others may enjoy it.
