My brother and I came by for an early dinner today after seeing many positive reviews. I was intrigued by their "famous" salad bar and Big Ben burger. You don't see too many salad bars these days and I was excited to try something new. I'll start with the positives. We both had the Big Ben burger and overall tasted very good. It's a big burger and will satisfy the heartiest of appetites. The restaurant itself was a nice setup with much sports memorabilia to look at. The negatives. Well, the fact that their sandwiches (including burgers) come a-la-carte. French fries are an extra $4 and onion rings & waffle fries $4.50. So, a sandwich and/or burger platter costs almost $20. We had the salad bar as well which as far as I understand is not offered as a side offering and you must pay almost $14 for unlimited salad bar. So, my Big Ben burger, fries, and salad bar cost a grand total of $34!! Multiply that by 2 and the total cost was over $70!! Yes, $70. I cannot recall ever having paid this much for two burgers (despite the size) fries, and salad bar. Red Robin offers their double burger, endless fries , and salad for $20. I get the rising costs of running a business and unfortunately some of it has to be offset by raising prices. However, by making sides alacarte and apparently charging their salad bar (without soups or hot sides) for $14 to me is just plain overkill and left me disappointed with empty pockets.

The outside was not particularly inviting. Glad I did not stop there! The inside is very engaging with much memorabilia. The wait staff was great! Very attentive. The ribs were amazing! I did not lick the BBQ sauce off the plate, but it took some willpower. The salad bar was soooo good! I did not taste anything that I did not love. What a special establishment.

I hadn’t been to Tony’s for a few years, but was meeting a friend in Findlay and was feeling nostalgic. The menu has been curtailed a bit, which is fine by me. I always get a little concerned when a menu has too many items - thinking how can they do THIS MUCH well?

But one of the things they took aways was the one-trip salad bar that you could add to any sandwich or even the bowl of soup. I always remember enjoying the salad bar and so I ended up ordering a dinner at lunch to get the salad bar included. I was not disappointed. I ended up with a 1/4 rack of ribs and waffle fries and a salad bar that I truly enjoyed. It was a much larger meal than I planned on, but we can splurge every once in a while! I ordered the ribs to get a little something along with the salad bar which would have been $15 on its own anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the ribs and would definitely order them again.

It’s all the toppings that are available on the salad bar and the prepared salads that make it truly wonderful. There aren’t many restaurants around that put that much care into a lineup like theirs.

Kudos to the management at Tony’s for a consistently good salad bar for YEARS!

Used to be my go to place in Findlay. They have absolutely priced themselves out of my business. Decent food, really good salad bar, but the prices have been increased to the point of being unreasonable. I understand some increases as a part of business, I usually flow with them without complaint. But the menu seems designed to get as much in one visit as possible without seeking return customers. Short sighted. If not, they are now short this customer.

Excellent salad bar, I will definitely be back for that. Ribs were good and tender, fell off the bone and were moist. Can't complain if you like these type, but I'm more of a dry rub from the smoker rib person. Very nice that they have a small bar area and a few drafts to choose from. Service was good as well, not long waits and not throwing your main dish on top of your salad before finishing. I will be back for the salad bar and to try some other main dishes. (Sorry, no offense to Ben, but I'm not a Steeler's fan either so probably won't try the Ben Burger 🤣).

Very disappointed in our food. We ordered Walleye and what we got was fish sticks. Gross fish sticks. Whenever we travel north up towards the great lakes we stop and get Walleye and this was not a stop for that. About the only thing that was good was the Pepsi and the salad bar. You don't see many salad bars these days like Ponderosa used to have.
