Wow! What a rare treat stopping here! Such a friendly staff, welcoming and clean. So clean I actually thanked the cleaning staff. Large Visitor Center with all sorts of literature about all the wonderful things to do in Iowa and there are many! There is even a gift shop with local artisan crafts and goods! Nice outdoor area, convenient location right off the highway, one of the more elaborate visitors centers I have seen and I travel a lot. At the welcome desk the lady told me every Visitor Center in Iowa has a theme and the theme of this one is agriculture. This is a wonderful stop and as my travels permit I will stop by again! Also, when you go to visitors centers, sign the guest book, it means a lot to those that are there and the dot who would like to see that these are used and appreciated.

This rest stop in North Iowa is a neat little gem! It is shaped like barn with a silo. It is two levels. This rest stop is always clean! There are about ten different vending machines. There are monuments outside to look at. There are lots of picnic tables. There is a cute little gift shop called the Barn Boutique. Lots to look at see and buy. How many rest stops have a gift shop?! A lot of the items are hand made from the local area. The gift shop manager is so nice to talk too! There is a separate kitchen where they did sell pies and cookies before covid. Hopefully they will bring this back soon! Well worth the stop! I spent a couple hours here.

Very cool place, shows a lot of history, has plaques around the grounds, a lot of maps and brochures, very clean restrooms, several picnic tables, has some charcoal grills for a nice hot lunch or dinner (maybe breakfast) this was my third time coming here and is always well kept and welcoming, thank you Iowa 😘

Wonderful rest stop when traveling. Has plenty of information a out the entire state of Iowa and thing to do. Has a nice little gift shop and snack bar upstairs. Restrooms are well kept and the ease of access to driving conditions is nice too. Has plenty of room outside to stretch legs, have lunch, walk pets and go for a walk yourself.

This is the first test area with restrooms for a long stretch, so it is really needed. However, if you can hold off for a couple of miles, there is a MN rest area that is more quickly accessed and doesn't position one adjacent to a casino. Otherwise, there's an interesting historical display and gift shop in the upstairs, which is a good climb to get the circulation going in the legs.

One of the cleanest rest areas I've been to, inside and outside. Outside there are several shelter houses with picnic tables and charcoal grills for a picnic. There's also a walkway with tribute to women who have served in the military.
