The people that work there are great!! Always trying to help the best they can, trying to build community with amazing events and really showing what a good institution this is. I've been going for over 6 months now and I have to say that everyone is so nice. My counselor has literally saved my life and helped me work through my anxiety.

Townhall 2 has been very helpful. During my classes they would always have child care available! At first I was very unsure. Today my child loves going to her "class" while mommy is in hers. The staff makes Payton feel very special everytime we are there. That's more than I expected! Wonderful people!

Amanda is amazing! I am writing a review as she went way above her job to handle a problem that happened that was out of their control during project detour. Thanks to Jessie for handling the situation as well. Great staff on both weekends made the weekend less miserable. Thank you, Amanda, Jessie, and Chris! However, townhall 2 needs to find a hotel not infested with bed bugs as 2 rooms I was in were infested and luckily did not have any other rooms available. When I returned to finish my weekend the following month as I sat there one of the other people from the new class said and then showed that they were covered in bed bug bites, which is why I left the month prior.... the hotel obviously does not care if they are infested. Unfortunately, townhall 2 still continues to use them knowing that this is a problem. I do not believe it is the project detour staffs choice of hotel, so I will not be rude to them as they are there doing their jobs and did what they could to help me out. I will say whoever it is making the choice of hotel 6 in Streetsboro boo to you!

I got told by my therapist of two years that she thinks I have DID or OSDD. so she told me to see a trauma specialist. So I did. I went talked to her and she said she doesn't know anything about DID/OSDD. She kept asking me to explain what OSDD was and said that DID is extremely rare she doesn't think I could have it. So on top of her I went and saw a specialist who specializes in OSDD and DID. He diagnosed me with OSDD-1B and at today's appointment with the other trauma therapist I told her this. She basically told me that me and my other two therapist need to stop saying and thinking I have OSDD-1B asking why I want or think I have this disorder. I don't want it....the reason I acknowledge it was because I want it to be treated and want it to go away. I explained this to her and her response was "just because I acknowledge I'm over wight doesn't mean I'm going to get skinny".....she made me feel unvalidated and as though this is all fake when I have been struggling with myself and my alters as well when it comes to wondering if we are faking it or not.....

Was court ordered to complete Townhall 2. I was dreading doing a recovery program and went in the program just wanting to get it over with. I attended the 6pm to 9pm group. From the first meeting to current date, iv honestly learned a lot about myself and addiction. Not only did this program and councilors help my recovery, they helped me start finding who I really am. Thanks everyone at Townhall 2. Frfr 🙂
P.s. 4 stars is way better than 1 star haha. (Inside joke)

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! THEY ARE NOT THERE TO HELP YOU! THEY WILL MAKE YOUR SITUATION WORSE!! THEY WANT YOU TO SHARE AND BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR DRUG USE AND DRUG HISTORY, AND THEN THEY GO RUNNING TO CHILDREN SERVICES AND YOUR PO AND TRY TO GET YOU IN TROUBLE!! THEY GO AGAINST YOU! THEY WANT U THERE 3 DAYS A WEEK PLUD COME SEE YOUR COUNSELOR WEEKLEY PLUS COME.AND GET YOUR MEDS! THEY R CRAZY and backstabbers!!!

I attended this program 21 years ago. Thank all of you for helping me to understand my disease. You were instrumental in my early recovery and I owe a debt of gratitude to you for my 21 years of sobriety. I wish I could remember the names of those who helped me. My head was so foggy back then.
