This is our third year returning to the same cabin (shady maple) This has turned into an anniversary getaway for us. It is perfect! Simple, relaxing, yet very enjoyable! Plenty to do in the area. Trails and a pond at the cabin property. The cabin is always clean and stocked with everything you need.

Tranquil Acres was a wonderful experience. We were in Sleepy Bear, which was very nice and perfect for a quiet getaway. The location was good to be close to everything, but far enough also. Not really any complaints, the cabin was in excellent condition and was exactly what it was described to be. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Shady Maple cabin for one night. It was cozy, comfortable & peaceful. We wanted to already be in the area on a Saturday (instead of driving) and our stay here served that purpose plus provided much needed relaxation. We liked the privacy and quiet while staying here. The trails were nice for a short walk too. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. I’m looking forward to visiting again!

My husband and I just stayed here for our 21st wedding anniversary. The property is beautiful and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We stayed at the cozy bear cabin. It was spacious, clean, and had everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed it so much. We are already planning a return trip. It is definitely a good value for your money and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Bear cabin. It was perfectly clean and cozy and quite beautiful inside. The whole area is very beautiful and within convenient distance to lots of Holmes County attractions.

The only reason we can't give 5 stars is that during our first night, a dog in the pasture across the driveway barked from about 3-5 am. It kept me up, though my husband slept through it. When I called and asked about it the next day, they simply explained he might bark at deer and hoped he wouldn't keep me up again. I thought it was odd to not get an apology at the very least. We specifically chose a cabin over other options, thinking it would be more quiet. The dog didn't bark the following night, but we're not sure if we'd go back with that possibility. If we do, we'll specifically ask about a cabin that's far away from the pasture. I don't know if the owners also own the pasture and dog.

If it hadn't been for the dog incident, we would have gladly given our cabin experience 5 stars.

Our family stayed in the historic Washington Street house in March for spring break and cannot say enough good things about this property! The location was walkable to all of our favorite restaurants on Jackson Street, the off street parking was convenient, the house was super clean with comfortable beds and nice furniture. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few quick meals. The owners had so many great extras on hand, from a pack and play (our kids are older but I would have so appreciated this as a young mom), kitchen appliances, snacks, coffee and so much more. We would stay with tranquil acres cabins again!

The cabin was so cozy! My husband surprised me with a night away at Tranquil Acres. It was a beautiful cabin and scenery. The owners were great hosts. They also had a road side stand with beautiful flowers. I highly recommend this for a quiet, cozy get away.

Small suggestions would be more comfortable beds (very firm), some blankets along with quieter unit outside main bedroom (very loud). Details we loved were: primary suite jet tub, hot tub and the instant fireplace in living room. It was nice to have bottled water and some snacks as well when we arrived. Very thoughtful details! Interiors were clean and new along with kitchen equipment. Plenty of towels! Appreciated the privacy shades for the hot tub on deck. We would recommend to anyone!
