The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was deciding to work with Tres Chic Affairs.

We interviewed a few wedding planners, but from our first phone call with Molly (founder/creative director), we knew she was the planner for us. We could immediately tell that Molly was talented, knowledgable, experienced, and organized— all traits that held true throughout the planning process. Molly also has the most amazing, calming demeanor: she put me at ease from the beginning, which is hard to do given my tendency to stress way too much!

We had about a year and a half to plan our wedding, and we communicated frequently with Molly and Rachel (event designer), who answered all of our questions and then some. They set us up with incredible software to manage every vendor outreach, contract, payment, etc., an invaluable tool when you’re trying to coordinate a thousand things at once. We got married at a venue that requires all outside vendors, and I know that Molly and Rachel's relationships ensured we got to work with the best of the best: so many of our vendors told us that they never say no to working with Tres Chic. The best compliment!

As a bride, I was what I imagine to be a *special* kind of client: I was both too busy with work to stay on top of all the decision-making, but also too Type A to surrender control to anyone else to make the decision. What a treat for Molly and Rachel! Despite this, they treated me (and my husband) with nothing but absolute kindness and respect throughout the whole process, following up when we missed an email and encouraging us to make decisions before we missed out on opportunities. Again, I can't stress how invaluable it was to have someone as organized as they were, making sure each piece came together. There wasn’t a moment during the entire process when I didn’t feel like we were in the best hands.

From a design perspective, Molly is a master of her craft, and I am in awe of her. She understood my vision from the outset, but somehow brought it to life in a way that exceeded even my wildest dreams. From tables, to chairs, to flowers, to linens, to place seatings-- I could go on-- believe me when I say that you can TRUST Molly to make all of your design dreams come true. When I saw it all come together the day of, I was blown away, and so were our guests, many of whom are still messaging us to gush about some detail. I look back at pictures and still can't believe *that* was our wedding. That's the gift you get by working with Molly.

Rachel is a design master in her own right, and her creativity helped elevate our day in ways I couldn't imagine. Rachel single-handedly brought to life so many of the most amazing details of our day, from place seatings, to signage, and more, on top of continuing to manage our vendor relationships. All of the details that I felt overwhelmed by seemed like a breeze for Rachel. Rachel is so kind and showed so much excitement for us throughout the planning process, which we so appreciated.

Working with Tres Chic means gaining a partner you can trust to bring your big day to life. As other past brides have mentioned, I was so relaxed the week of the wedding, and that’s entirely because I trusted Molly and Rachel’s expertise to shine through, which it did in spades. The timeline they created for the day was flawless: there wasn’t a moment we were running behind, and my husband and I even had downtime before the ceremony to sit together, drink some water, and soak it all in. What a gift that was! Molly and Rachel thought of every detail day of, from handing me a bandaid when I got a blister, to meeting my husband and I with drinks immediately after the ceremony, to having guest book supplies on hand when I forgot a few crucial pieces. They thought of it all, hours (weeks?!) before I did. Their thoughtfulness meant we could focus on spending time together, and with friends and loved ones.

I am biased, but I will always believe my husband and I had the best wedding ever, thanks to the absolute gift of working with Tres Chic Affairs.

Rachel was absolutely amazing! She kept us calm throughout the planning process and the day of. We chatted with a few planners before deciding and I’m so happy we worked with Rachel and Tres Chic! I’m detail oriented so it was such a relief to find someone more organized than me. I had so many questions during the process and Rachel was always there to provide her advice and guidance from selecting vendors to deciding how many people to have in my bridal party.

On the day of she made sure everything went smoothly and really looked after us. While she was busy managing everything she still made sure that we had drinks and food. My parents and multiple guests told us how smooth the day went and how great Rachel was.

She’s also the sweetest human. Her genuine care for us and her wedding expertise was the absolute best combo and helped alleviate so much stress through the planning process.

Molly & Rachel were amazing!

I was beyond overwhelmed thinking about planning my wedding. I come from the event world and I wasn't sure if I could give up the control.
Let me tell you--best decision ever!!

I tell literally everyone I know that if I didn't have a planner I wouldn't have had a wedding. Now after having a wedding I am SO happy I did and I owe that all to Tres Chic Affairs. When I tell you NOTHING went wrong on my wedding day. Nothing went wrong! Everyone tells you "things are going to go wrong day of that you can't control" NOT IF YOU HAVE MOLLY & RACHEL!

I knew exactly what I wanted my wedding to look like and they got the vision day 1. I was very particular about things and they just got it. Day of was also a breeze. I am not a calm person and I was so calm because I knew we had everything done WEEKS before the date.

Guests came up to me and made comments about how on it & nice they were. Vendors told me they were the best planners they have worked with. The list goes on. Could not recommend them more.

I can’t say enough about Nicole’s work as our wedding coordinator—she was absolutely phenomenal! A friend recommended her, saying she was a must-have, and Nicole more than lived up to the hype. From the moment we started working together, she never slowed down and matched my energy every step of the way. I’m someone who operates at a million miles an hour, and Nicole kept up with every detail and last-minute change.

She’s beyond organized, doesn't miss a beat, and truly makes things happen. Just three hours before the ceremony, I called her wanting to rearrange tables and add two guests. Without missing a step, Nicole told me, “If the venue can do it, I’ll make it happen,” and five minutes later, she called back to confirm it was done. Even my makeup artist (who’s very experienced and well-known) was shocked and said, “You have a great wedding coordinator! Those types of calls usually don't have a result like that.” That kind of quick, can-do response is just one example of how Nicole went above and beyond.

Throughout the evening, she ensured everything was in place, from the ceremony to the shuttles at the end of the night. She even packed a snack box with water and soda for me and my husband for the ride home! Nicole genuinely made sure we enjoyed every moment of our day without a worry in the world. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

**SIDE NOTE: she had to plan the mock ups and everything while my mom is based out of area and Nicole worked with timings around my moms flights.

Best wedding planner ever!! We had the absolute best day, I truly don't think it could have been any better, all thanks to Molly & Rachel. Everything was gorgeous and so smooth. Before the wedding, so many people told me to just relax because something will go wrong but you just have to let it go and enjoy the day. I was fully expecting that, but turns out we didn't have to think about that even once on our wedding day, because Molly was on top of EVERYTHING. She made everything so seamless and easy. Throughout the process, they were so patient and knowledgeable about all the different vendors, styles, venue, etc and we felt like we could trust them with every decision. They helped us have our dream day that exceeded all of our expectations!! Thank you Molly & Tres Chic Affairs team!!!

If you’re looking for the PERFECT wedding planner - Tres Chic Affairs is it!

To start, Molly designed our wedding look. We uploaded photos of what our ideal wedding vibe would be and she put a look book together that exceeded everything we could ever imagine! She has amazing style and knows how to pull an entire look together.

Then we were blessed to have for most amazing wedding planner ever - Rachel Cohn.
She is the best! We had a destination wedding in San Diego. Planning from afar is never easy, but Rachel made it seamless. She knows all the best vendors in the area and her response time on emails, texts, and phone calls is unreal.

My husband and I got married at Scripps Seaside Forum in November. It comes with the venue and parking. That’s it. Everything needs to be brought in and removed the same day, which is not easy to do! We must have had 10+ vendors and she pulled it all together.

The day before Rachel met us for the rehearsal and made sure my family knew exactly what they were doing on the wedding day. We handed over any DIY stuff that she suggested AND willingly set up. She ordered bar signs for us on Etsy. She placed pillows on couches. She had our linens delivered to her house that were 500 lbs. She even set up a doughnut wall. She does it all!!

On the day of our wedding she was everywhere! Getting vendors in the right spot. Gathering my family for photos. Handing out glow sticks. Lining up and high-fiving the bridal party. Tying my shoes!!! We also had Nicole for our second coordinator and she made sure my family was paying attention at all times. Bless her!!

We were lucky to work with the entire Tres Chic Affairs team. Each team member is exceptional and balance each other out so well. I’ve been in the events and hospitality industry for 10 years and Tres Chic is the best. For those contemplating on a wedding planner:

1. I promise you - you need one! Even wedding planners know the importance of a coordinator on their own wedding day.
2. What’s important? You need someone that jumps in and gets it done! Rachel does exactly that. She is ten steps ahead of everyone else.
3. Enjoy the process! - The Tres Chic team makes you so excited for your wedding! I was a little jaded when I started the process and was at first looking at it like a chore. They made the planning so special and were genuinely excited for everything!

I remember saying to Rachel “I don’t know how you do this all the time!” Her reply was “I love weddings, I love my brides, and I love my job.” Such a heartwarming response! Thank you again Rachel! We are forever grateful for you!

Organization is my jam. Releasing control...not so much. Type A, Enneagram 3, ESTJ, Virgos, where you at? So, when it came to finding the right coordinator, I knew that it'd take a special trusting relationship for me to comfortably relinquish the details of our day to someone who would execute every single detail to perfection and boy, did she ever!!! I can honestly say that I felt so at ease and had so much fun throughout this entire wedding planning process because of Rachel!

We chatted with a hand full of coordinators and choosing Rachel and Tres Chic Affairs was a no-brainer. I fell in love with the attention to detail and design and style of the different weddings I had seen they'd done and just had a gut feeling when I talked to her that she was someone I could trust and that I'd get along with. Throughout the planning process, with each vendor we booked, they all knew of Rachel and reaffirmed what good hands we were in.

Although we chose the month of coordination package, we were immediately set up with Aisle Planner- a website used to track and organize all thing weddings. It was such a helpful tool and came with an extensive checklist and sections to upload vendor information and details about our big day. I also appreciated that it allowed Rachel the ability to keep tabs on how we were doing and ensure that we were on track.

While Rachel was so incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, answering questions we had along the way, she fully jumped in a few months before our wedding to lead us to the finish line! I am so grateful for Rachel because she really pulled everything together. She was so on top of communicating with vendors, fleshing out timeline details and ensuring that everyone knew where to be and what to do. There was so much behind the scenes work that she did and it was evident in conversations with our vendors who were so ready and prepared for our day.

The week leading up to our wedding, I was honestly feeling a little bored. I thought that our days would be filled with wrapping up final details, but everything was confirmed and so completely ready to go that we got time to just relax and enjoy extra time with out of town guests as they rolled into San Diego for our wedding.

Our wedding day was truly a dream come true. It was absolutely perfect (and if anything wasn't- I have no idea because Rachel handled it). She was everywhere all at once and made sure that each detail was in place and that we always had a drink in hand. And while I know there were a million things she was doing that day, she brought such a sense of calm to our day. She always had a smile on her face and helped make sure my husband and I had special and intentional moments to just take a breath and enjoy each other that we'll forever cherish.

And if all that wasn't enough, our wedding party and family could not stop raving about her. They loved her and appreciated how she perfectly kept us on track but in such a kind and positive way that things just felt so good!

Our wedding was perfect. Rachel is perfect. And we will forever have her to thank for the best perfect day of our lives.

5 stars isn't enough to cover how incredible Molly and Rachel are. If you are looking for a team that supports your vision, listens to your ideas and provides you with ample options every step of the way, look no further. I worked with Tres Chic Affairs for two years planning my big day in a town they had never been to, with new vendors, potential weather issues and so many moving parts, I thought it would be a recipe for disaster but it was quite literally the exact opposite experience. Molly was calm, informative and helpful every single step of the way- she worked with vendors and finalized details (with the help of her little fairy Rachel), taking all of the stress out of wedding planning- leaving me to do all the fun parts. Throughout planning Molly was extremely attentive, responded almost immediately to my questions, and talked me out of any minor panic attacks that come from planning a wedding. Having access to her through Voxer was so beneficial for my sanity and being able to talk through each step of planning made me feel confident about the decisions I was making and so excited to see the final product. Every detail of our day was executed perfectly and I promise you it had everything to do with this team. If you're on the fence about getting a planner or even choosing a planner I promise you, hiring Tres Chic Affairs was the best decision I made (besides my husband) and I wish I could do the day all over again!
