My Nicaragua trip in March 2024 with Troy Tours; comments on the trip:
This tour operator was an excellent choice and was a large part of why my trip to Nicaragua was so enjoyable. They created an amazing itinerary which packed everything I wanted to do into a wonderful 8-day adventure. Our guide and the driver met us at the airport. They greeted us, gave us a nice gift bag (wine and candies) and went over some basic information about being in Nicaragua. They took the time to answer our questions about Costa Rica such as using Cordobas versus Dollars. We were escorted to the driver’s van and given a packet with our prepaid vouchers for all the lodging and activities. The packet also included our itinerary and instructions. I purchased a hammock while in Masaya and was worried about taking it to the airport as it was longer than my check-in bag. They sent me some wrapping materials and gave me advice on how to deal with the oversized item. One of our favorite parts of the experience with Troy Tours was the driver that initially picked us up in Managua (where we overnighted) and subsequently drove us to Leon and Granada was so helpful and accommodating. The company really paid me a lot of attention and I felt like a VIP the entire trip. I really enjoyed my time in Nicaragua and cannot recommend this travel agency enough.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
The most enjoyable part of Nicaragua for us was the people. From the tour guides to the locals, everyone was so nice and pleasant to talk to. The tour guides were all great at making sure you enjoyed the activity. The zipline "monkeys", the hanging bridges guide, and the coffee tour guide were all outstanding. I would like to thank the boat ride in Granada in particular. I learned an incredible amount and had a wonderful tour. Letting us release some newly hatched butterflies in Solentiname was an amazing moment and was the most memorable part of our trip. It is unbelievable that such a simple thing could be so humbling. Having that Monarch butterfly crawl out into my hand and then take its first flight into the habitat is something I will never forget.

Troy Tours Turkey
Had a great time in Turkey. Troy Tours was great, no problems. Tour guide Alih, was excellent. So much to see, the people were so friendly and nice, would recommend this trip to anyone . . Also, such nice people on the tour.
Troy Tours seems to attract a really nice group of people and their guides are terrific .
I went to Greece with them previously and loved it as well.

More than a trip, a life-changing experience!

While this was not my first trip to Israel, it was unlike any prior trip due to the itinerary selected by Touring Israel and the phenomenal guidance from our tour guide, Avi. Avi has an encyclopedic knowledge of Israel, is enthusiastic, engaging, and made the trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He truly made us feel like family. We cannot wait to return! We just returned from a guided tour of Turkey offered by the popular Troy Tours Travel company. This was a great time, and we highly recommend this company and this tour package. We usually just manage on our own in foreign travel, but for Turkey we felt less confident and were glad to have been in the hands of an experienced and well-regarded tour company.

Private tour agreements – Istanbul
Last month, group of our friends from the states visited us in Istanbul. We selected Troy Tours, located in Los Angeles, to arrange their trip to Turkey.
All was excellent and well organized. It exceed the our guests’ expectations.
Their guide “Vedat” with commanding English and vast knowledge of Turkey was great and he was also very passionate about his country.
We strongly recommend Troy Tours.

Not a reliable company - scam operation. Originally booked Israel tour Oct. 2019. Trip has been cancelled and rebooked at tour company's discretion 4 times. Refund offered Oct. 2022. After multiple promises, no refund.

Just returned from a great tour of Turkey with Troy Tours. Despite our late arrival, we were met by our fantastic guide, Mine, and everything went well. The hotel choices were excellent; good services and great locations. Our guide, Mine, was the gem of our trip. She was simply terrific: knowledgeable, kind; and went out of her way to ensure that everyone was satisfied.

The only downside was a side trip to a leather factory and shop. This was a clear tourist 'trap' and wasted about two hours of our day. They also sold many knock-off items (handbags, etc.) that I was not comfortable with. I think it should have been made clear what this side trip consisted of and people should have been given a choice of attending.

On the whole, my experience with Troy Tours was wonderful and I highly recommend them.
