This place was better than I thought it would be! It’s included with Montezuma’s castle and we just went to it because it was included and it was really cool. Best part was that you can walk inside instead of just looking at it like Montezuma. When you get inside, you can see how everything stays cold. It was like AC inside the hut.

Be aware it is $20 per vehicle if you have two- four people not $7 so be ready to pay a steep price for a state park. No paddle boards allowed

Staff very nice. Very nice guest center. Great displays. Hike is up up up hill. First part is ramps..some railings. Top get to the top we walked stairs. Was a pretty easy hike for the most part. Views are great. Structure is fascinating especially if spark guide fills you in on the history. There are information signs along the way. Nice visit. Cost unless you have a national park membership.

Nice day trip. Interesting to see how natives lived hundreds of years ago. If taking lil ones, be cautious as some of the trailhead has no railings. Beautiful open plains. We enjoy
God's majestic country !

Interesting stop. We weren’t intending on stopping here, but we needed to kill some time.$10pp to visit and walk the trail. Very interesting to read about the Pueblos and culture 1000-1300. Very steep trail, tennis shoes recommended.
