I agreed to see someone because of diabetes. Started to eat whole foods, lost 51 pounds, went into diabetic remission. One of the counselor's decided to call a place in MA. For eating disorders, which I did not have! Turned out, I was right the whole time. Was a thyroid problem. But, they labeled me as anorexic any way. I tried to fight it, but they refused to listen. Then said I was to be excluded from any group that has any physical exertion. This included yoga!! Also, I am now being billed by a medical practice that I have never been too!
My advice: stay away from United services. They do more harm than good!

I had gone there before and had a great experience. Went there this time and had to break up with my therapist. He didn’t offer me any other options, so I called intake to make an appointment with a different therapist. Intake told my old therapist I had called (not sure why) and told me I couldn’t make an intake for 90 days due to policy. When I asked what the policy was I was met with more attitude and that “the policy is out there bc some clients skip 4/5/6 appointments and we need to make sure they really want therapy.” I had only missed one appointment. So I was transferred to a manager because yes I would like to be in therapy and it’s not my fault my therapist failed to offer to transfer me. Can’t wait to hear back and I cannot believe that this can’t just be a drama free easy switch. Absolutely unprofessional of my therapist and the intake department to seemingly decide for me if I need therapy or not and try to throw policies that don’t even have to do with me to try to deter me from getting help. Do better.
Update: manager called me back and told me that “they have staffing issues and it’s not actually the policy but that they only have 2 therapists taking new clients and they aren’t available for intake for 90 days.” When I asked why I was given a different answer from intake I got no real answer. The manager then gave me numbers for different places. It seems they have no communication there and seem to really not care about the clients. I would go somewhere else.

I was set up to be seen weekly. They tried to move me to bi- weekly and an agreement was made for 3 times a month. That agreement was not upheld. Now it looks like every 4 to 6 weeks. If I were you, I would go elsewhere. Talked to Malaysia Demma, she will not honor agreement, emailed Dianne Manning, the CEO, she never responded.

My daughter went there and they refused to take care of the reason she was going. Then tried to pawn her off on the Joshua center which is a complete waste of time, made her worse. Then when I switch her refused to refill her med which is a violation against continence of care. I wouldn't recommend this place to everyone they have my poor 11 year old having with drawls then refusing to answer the phone. This place is a joke and I am reporting them. Don't subject your child to this, my daughter has many medical issues and now has to withdraw because of there lies. Promising to cover till her new appointment is made haha what a joke this place is
