I recently took a transformative trip to Ghana led by Jeff Boyd and Untamed Path Adventures. Our small group packed a lot of activities and travel into four days and it worked to perfection thanks to Jeff. Jeff and the Untamed Path Adventures team put together a fantastic trip for our family. Everything went absolutely smooth, our guide Alfredo was awesome-so informative, flexible, took care of all our needs. We loved the accommodations in the cloud forest, and our cruise in the Galapagos. The boat was lovely, and we got to see all sorts of amazing animals. I highly recommend Untamed Path Adventures!

I thought I "enjoyed" planning my own trips until now. It took me a bit to relinquish the reigns and trust their knowledge and expertise but I am so glad that I did. It was the absolute best way to enjoy Ecuador and the Galapagos for our first trip to South America. Everything was thoughtfully planned and executed from exploring Quito to our adventures birding in the cloud forest to the incredible yacht in the Galapagos . The local knowledge and relationships made it an experience we could have never created on our own.
Where to next...maybe Columbia? Peru? Argentina? We're ready!

Our experience with Untamed Path was amazing form start to finish. As someone who has visited 50+ countries and also lived overseas I am very used to traveling. I never use a travel agent or planner because I prefer to book my own trips. However when looking at a Galapagos cruise we used the services of Untamed Path. The trip was incredible. Every details was pre-arranged (and often confirmed multiple times) I was very impressed with their in-depth knowledge of the places we visited... right down to which cabin would be best for us on our yacht. I will certainly be using them again!

Untamed Path put together a wonderful trip in Ecuador for my wife and me in the spring of 2017. It was a complex trip that originated in Quito and then focused on hiking and birding on both side of the Andes. All went without a hitch: guides, accommodations, food, scenery, spectacular birds and animals–all delightful; even a couple of landslides were accommodated with skill and confidence. Jeff was responsive to all of our questions and concerns. He obviously knows the country well and has the respect of those with whom he works. We recommend Jeff and Untamed Path without reservation. Next year Peru.

Untamed Path Adventures helped us planning a wonderful trip to Ecuador and Galapagos. It is important for me to be able to reach out to a trip coordinator if needed while abroad or at home. Jeff responded very quickly to all the inquiries. Super organized and focused. He made sure that all the questions were addressed, and we had the relevant information. I prefer private active travel. Jeff organized the transfers and tours. At the end of the trip we had a last minute request to change the itinerary to visit a Rose Plantation (Ecuador is a major exporter of roses. Who knew! The rose plantation we visited ships 100,000 - 180,000 roses per day). Jeff was able to accommodate the request (thank you Jeff). Highly recommend Untamed Path Adventures for your next travel to South America.

Jeff Boyd coordinated our group's trip to the Galapagos. He arranged for our hotel stay and city tour in Quito, then our flights to the islands, our boat and our naturalist on the board, our flights back to Quito and our hotel stay before flying back to the United States. In every aspect, Jeff's work was excellent. We experienced very night hotels, great service, thoughtful guides, a luxurious boat and an exceptional naturalist for our time in the Galapagos. Jeff's knowledge of the options and the people he could connect with us made our trip exceptional and memorable. He was prompt and complete in answering all our questions so we could be fully prepared for this adventure and went the extra mile (even meeting with most of the group in person in Indianapolis to explain the trip and answer questions). We cannot imagine how our trip could have been better planned and executed.
