Doug from Upbeats did my daughter's wedding on 9/21/24. What a wonderful experience all around and Doug helped make that possible. Very organized, very personable and extremely thorough with the bride and groom to get their requests in line with all the wedding events. The sound was perfect and the reception music not too loud for conversation. The speakers and mics at the outdoor ceremony were perfect as well. Many thanks to Doug and Upbeats!

Our DJ, Doug, was very knowledgeable and professional. He made sure that all the details of the ceremony and reception were taken care of from the first draft of the itinerary to the final draft (and all the changes we had in between). He kept the crowd engaged and everything was perfect! Highly recommend them for your event!

We used UpbeatsDJs LLC for our recent wedding and they were phenomenal! The process was so easy and Doug was AMAZING!!! Doug did a great job setting up our mics for the reception and playing music for our cocktail hour. Also, so many people told us how fun the reception was and we always had people out on the dance floor! Incredible night thanks to Doug! I would highly recommend if you want people on the dance floor of all ages!!!

Everything was perfect! The ceremony was great, DJ Doug set up the microphones perfectly and was positioned out of the way. When it came to the reception, everyone was dancing all night long!! The music was great and he listened to our requests, and had songs that everyone loved. Before the wedding we had two meetings and it was so easy to organise.

Upbeats DJ, Doug, and his team were exceptional in every way possible from the moment we booked them, the weeks leading up into the wedding, and throughout wedding day. Doug was always quick to respond when we had questions and always made us feel like a priority. He was very professional, but also extremely personable. He made sure that we didn’t feel as if we just hired a DJ, but that we hired someone that was going to ensure our day went as smooth as possible, while providing a personal touch that made everyone feel welcome, excited, and part of the celebration. Doug was also very thorough throughout the whole planning process. He started reaching out to us a few months before the wedding to start planning our timeline of the evening and made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. We even threw some curveballs at him right before the wedding and he quickly adjusted his plan and setup to accommodate our changes. Our venue even commented to us that Doug was the most prepared DJ they had ever had. He worked with each of our other vendors to make sure they were all on the same page for every part of the evening. All of this, and we still haven’t gotten to the music, lights and dancing. Our whole evening was filled with music that we loved and music that everyone knew. Our dance floor was completely full the whole evening and that’s all due to how Doug created his sets. He curated the perfect mix of slow songs, dance songs, singing songs, old music, and new music. The lighting system they use is also fantastic. It creates an amazing atmosphere without interfering with the photographer’s and videographer’s lenses. I can only give the highest recommendation and praises to Doug and his team and would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation.

I was very disappointed. I was expecting better because of the reviews and previous experience at my venue but was definitely let down. Played the wrong song for our cake cutting. Didn’t play a song for our unity ceremony. There was a lot of awkward air time when no music was playing. Christian wasn’t an interactive DJ and didn’t read the crowd well. When I expressed my concerns no accountability was taken. Wouldn’t recommend. Only giving 3 stars because they did bring everything they were supposed to.

DJ doug was amazing! He was great through the entire creative process and giving advice due to his 40 years experience! He got everyone on the dance floor and kept things on schedule!he is also very personable and fun to work with, highly recommended

Shaun did an amazing job. I was 0 percent helpful picking most of the songs for the entire day and he did great with picking the perfect songs. He made everything go super smooth, and communication before hand was great, too! He made the whole experience so much fun. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
