It’s €1 per person bring CASH!! So for 2 people it’s €2 ONE WAY. €4 two ways. Stunning views, we parked close to a church (pay for parking or park a little away on street roads to avoid this). Very cute. Old. The views are incredible nice little adventure worth saying you got on and experienced it. Cheap and cute ?

One of the two funiculars in Kaunas. This is a great means of transportation and attraction if you want to visit Christ's Resurrection Church. It runs regularly, the ticket costs €1, it is paid at the upper station, same like at the other funicular. The ride is short and comfortable. Be sure to use it, it is also suitable for children.

Interesting experience which costs 1 euro to go up or down. It marked 87 years in 2020, yet it was refurbished so looks very neat - as you were in a time capsule. Reminded me a bit of the transportation in Lisbon.

Beware of tourist scam.

We payed for 4 rides. 2 to go down and 2 to go up. We even left a tip 1 euro.
He just gave us a receipt for 2 euro and let us pay again after we got up!

I passed through on a Sunday, on a day anyway the funicular does not work, but I think there is sign explaining the service is temporarily suspended. Anyway you get better views of the train from the lower station.

Short ride but worth trying it when you are in Kaunas. The cars are well maintained. It costs 1€ - paid at the upper station.
