Awesome trails to hike in the winter here in Mena. The upkeep of the trails are excellent.

Update: got to come up in the fall. Wow the leaves and creatures are so beautiful. Maybe I’ll move here someday.

We started up the mountain to be stopped in the worst fog. So we turned around in one of those turn-around things that luckily was right there, where it got bad. As we were going back down, we stopped and found the visitors center opened earlier than advertised. He was so sweet inside. He warned against the fog and advised us to 2 other places that had beautiful fall colors and no fog. It was beautiful!

Clean, well kept. Picnic areas and hiking. It was popular early and late, but still found parking and had solo space on the trail.

Beautiful scenery & a clear, paved sidewalk to enjoy a walk in the woods. Perfect for walks with the little ones & admiring nature. April is great weather for it too.
