My stay at Village Motel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms have been beautifully updated and are impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location by the shore is perfect for relaxation, and it truly felt more like a cozy home than just a motel. Everyone I encountered was caring, helpful, and kind, and I especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep each night. It's very infrequent I post a 1 one star review but I'm incredibly disappointed to say the least. My room had No towels. No hand or shower soap and half a roll of toilet paper. No lamp shade. No chair. One light on the bed didn't even work... One window opened out of 3 in July (Summer). No bolt on the door, only a door handle lock. The interior of the Room appeared clean and I specifically chose the 'updated' room. This honestly felt very overpriced at 90$/night for the experience and lack of basic amenities. The Front office door was locked and inaccessible at 8am when I tried to ask for anything. When I called (which found at least 3 different phone numbers listed) and finally spoke to someone to ask if I could possibly pay to stay a few extra hours before I checked into my next location - I was told they don't do that and I would need to pay at least 80$ for another night.

This place was great! The rooms are updated, new and beautiful. Hardwood floors, super comfy mattresses, plenty of towels.
The man at the front desk, Nitin, was super kind and upgraded me to a king room because it was a slow night. I had my own car port, the room came with a desk, marble night stands, good size fridge and a big closet. Tons of outlets which is a plus. Water pressure was great and I'm going to ask to stay another night!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this motel. The rooms were impeccably clean, the service was excellent, and the location offered a pleasant atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, making it deserving of a 5-star rating.

I used to have a positive experience staying at the Village Motel. The owners at the time were very friendly and welcoming and let me stay for a while until I found a place to live. No complaints. I'm giving this place a one star now because of the extremely rude innkeeper who took over the motel. I had just called a few days ago and explained to the lady on the phone that I used to stay here and wanted to know if there were any rooms available for me to come back again. She was very rude and said that they don't do weekly rates anymore even though the past owners said I was always welcome back. This was the only motel in the area that I actually enjoyed staying at. Now, they just lost a customer and I will not be coming back.

The new Manager of the motel has shut it down. As she should have, she started an attitude with me when she tried to overcharge a room twice and then wouldn't return the money until I got the cops involved. Since Christmas , it has been shut down!

My husband and I just paid for a week last Monday. We went to pay the lady at the desk for Today (monday) until Thursday. She started talking back in a negative tone and said that she won't take our money and to leave. We asked why not when we were just going to pay the daily price instead and she said they only accept weekly payments. Then proceeded us to leave and move out right away. I'm not sure what kind of hotel this is. I guess there's a reason there's only 2 other people staying here. The people at the front desk are not kind or polite in any way. Oh and the Wi-Fi barely works. I hope if anyone else chooses to stay here that they don't get treated like we did. It's a shame too because the room is decent and so is the bathroom and the area is perfect

It's a nice little motel. Rooms were clean & spacious. TVs aren't HD but the cable is pretty good. Bed was comfortable. Was right near downtown clinton so it's a nice location.
