Villas at Meadow View - Show Low, Arizona

My wife and I stayed here for my birthday night as we are traveling all over Arizona. This place really is very nice for the quality and cleanliness, especially for couples. We had the top floor of the villa so there was a large walk-in shower with two shower heads. The bed is firm but comfortable, and the sheets and pillows are very soft. There are a lot of small details that they have covered that make this a few steps above the other local options too many to list. This was our first airbnb experience and we do recommend this place.

The reasons for four stars instead of five.
The photos and listing I think are a bit misleading. There is a nice view of a meadow and treeline, but there is a fairly busy road directly below the balconies. This made for a lot of road noise, especially in the morning. Can't choose your neighbors, but the people below us had a dog that had some barking fits, and we could hear it running around like they were playing catch inside.

Last, we suspect this unit might share a hot water heater. We only had maybe 5 minutes of hot water in the morning before it went cold. The night before, we had around 15-20 minutes of hot water. As a couple spending a romantic evening together, the large shower with two shower heads was a big seller, and the limited time to use that was disappointing. We aren't expecting an hours worth or unlimited.

Great location and a cozy place. We stayed there for a long weekend. We drove to the lake in less than 10 minutes. There are hiking trails literally across the street. The place was clean and comfortable. Our kids liked playing some of the games they had under the coffee table. After the kids were asleep we watched the moon rise over the meadow. We will definitely stay again.

We had a unbelievable great time at the Villas. From the absolutely breathing sunrises, to the clean and neat property. Allison has really set the bar high for finding anything even remotely close to this in the White Mountains. We have been coming up for years now and after finding this we definitely have a property to recommend to all our friends and family. We own a home in Pinetop-Lakeside but had some family staying there so we chose to book at the Villas. Wow, it was a incredible experience. Close to everything, walking distance to most of the good restaurants down town Show low. Our unit was spotless, super cute inside with a great view. Fully loaded unlike some professional properties we have stayed at. Little things make a big difference and set this place far apart from the rest. (Shower soaps that we amazing) Towels that were neat and placed professional. Gorgeous fireplace with excellent lighting throughout, they absolutely crushed it building these. We plan on booking again here soon to bring a large group of friends up to experience it also. Thank you again Allison for such an amazing time!

We spent the last weekend at the Villas and it is a lovely and clean unit. We loved that it was “dog friendly” so we brought our dogs with us. The steps are a grated metal and one of our dogs was especially spooked and launched himself down the stairs and cut his lip and foot. The booking process was easy and communication was relatively quick. I would definitely stay here again, only a bottom unit next time!

My husband and I stayed at The Villas at Meadow View last night and it was absolutely perfect! Everything inside the cabin was clean, the appliances were full sized, the bed was cozy, the shower/tub was incredible, and the view was amazing. It was the perfect cozy setting for the two of us, but it is very clear our two kiddos would have also been able to stay. We are already planning our next getaway here with them for this summer! We can’t wait!

We loved our stay! The place is beautiful and clean. It's a well thought out space. Modern, but still cozy. I especially loved the giant shower with waterfall showerhead and the tub inside.
Note that the place is near a main road, but the noise machine and blackout curtains were perfect. We slept great. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The view of the meadow across the way was our favorite. The deck was the perfect place to watch the full moon rise. Great little area and excellent recommendations from the owners. We would definitely stay here again!

Our cabin was spacious and so clean. It was cozy and we loved how relaxing it was just being there. My toddler enjoyed the balcony, he was entertained for hours out there. Definitely going to come back to this beautiful place!
