I recently had an incredible experience with Jeff and Melissa from VineCycle Tours, riding eBikes through the vineyards at Robert Hall and stopping for tastings. The eBikes were top-quality and so easy to use, making the ride effortless and enjoyable, even if you haven’t been on a bike in a while!

What made the day even more special was Jeff and Melissa’s personal touch. They shared fascinating stories about the wineries and the land, giving us a deeper connection to the region. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned, and their passion for Paso Robles wine country really shines through.

VineCycle Tours also offers rides through other amazing spots like Justin, Castoro, Santa Margarita Ranch, and more.

If you’re visiting Paso—or even if you’re a local looking for something new—I can’t recommend VineCycle Tours enough. This is a must-do experience that’ll leave you with great memories and a greater love for wine country! Great wine, great tours, and truly great people!

VineCycle Tours offers local winery tours in the Paso Robles area of California's Central Coast region. They provide among the latest eBikes (Specialized pedal assisted), helmets, water and fully guided tours of Ancient Peak winery which takes about 2.5hrs and spans 10 miles thru the vast vineyard. The tours guides are very knowledgeable and explain and answer questions about the history area and vineyard , wildlife and local areas of interest. They are very helpful with set up of bikes and safety during tour. The vineyard tour is quite unique as most ebike tours are in public areas while this is is mostly in a private ranch with no public access which make the tour much safer without public traffic and unique as this would otherwise not be accessible to see and explore. The Tour is capped at a peak in vineyard with 360 views of expansive ranch with vineyard and cattle and nature. During this stop they provide wine tastings of two of the vineyard's wine ( a white and red) on plastic souvenir wine tumblers. On our tour we saw many birds, deer and Bob cats. We stopped a few times for water breaks and bathroom break. Do make reservations ahead of time to ensure you or group can be accomodated. Pricing is approximately $175 / person which includes ebike, helmet , water bottle, wine tasting, guided tour and access to private ranch. Overall I would recommend this tour if you have a few hours on you visit to this area to embark on this unique tour of the southernmost viticultural area of Paso Robles.

We absolutely loved our e-bike wine tour. It was the perfect way to experience the vineyard and enjoy the beauty. The owners were so incredible and the bikes were great. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to truly experience this gorgeous wine country.

Can't say enough good about Vine Cycle Tours. First of all, What a COOL idea!!! Truly. I don't think I know of another outfit like this. Additionally, the proprietors, Jeff and Melissa, are a great team. Jeff provides a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard; land use, history, information on the kinds of wine being grown, and answers all kinds of questions. Melissa is the 'eyes-on-the-ground', which made me feel completely comfortable about learning how to ride an e-bike! She keeps a close eye on how everyone is progressing while pointing out details on the tour that I for one, would have missed. And the wine tasting What more could one ask for. I will definitely will be back for another tour despite living in the midwest!

We really enjoyed our Justin tour with Jeff and Melissa. The orientation to the E-bikes at the beginning was thorough so I felt comfortable heading out on the tour.

It is a totally different experience to bike through the vineyard and see parts not even really visible from the tasting areas. Our docent was knowledgeable and had fun riding around with us.

The tasting after our ride was awesome also and you taste with hands on experience with the vines and Paso.

Looking forward to signing up for other Vinecycle tours and bringing friends and family with us next time.

VineCycle not only provides great vineyard biking views and scenery, but the husband and wife docents provide interesting facts on Justin Vineyards, their history of growing and processing grapes, as well as interesting information about the flora and fauna that intermingle with this beautiful property year round. We signed up for a late summer visit, but I'd like to go back and bring all my friends during the Spring and the Fall. The experience added so much more to the understanding of Justin's great wines. And then, of course, you get to taste some of those wines after wandering the estate by ebike. What a great weekend its been!

Did this 2 hour tour at ancient peaks on e bikes. Was such a fun and intimate experience that really allows you to appreciate the work and beauty that goes into the bottle. Felt like a kid again on these bikes. 10/10 recommend!
