CUSTOMER SERVICE 0/5 Will never accept a package virtually again because it was not there when I got home and Vitamix refuses to refund or replace the item. This was a gift to myself and the first time buying from Vitamix and will be my last. This was a refurbished model at that not even regular price or top of the line! Unbelievably horrible customer service. I'm working with PayPal app and thought I would get emails on the resolution so missed the messages but I had contacted Vitamix BEFORE submitting the resolution with PayPal so for Vitamix to say they never talked with me is a lie.

I bought my first Vitamix about 25 years ago and have upgraded when I needed to. I use my Vitamix multiple times during the day for cooking, smoothies, etc. I also make compost smoothies of my kitchen scraps for the garden. My family and the garden are healthier because of this. When I broke my Vitamix- The repair was affordable. When one of my Vitamixes broke shortly after the warranty, Vitamix honored the warranty and fixed it for free. I love this company and I love their product. It is a lifelong investment in the health of our bodies, the planet, and the USA economy.

Basically stay away from vitamix

My A3500i was dead on arrival. Unfortunately I only open the box 1.5 mths later and is unable to return.
Contacted customer service and was told to go back to distributer for repair with me covering shipping. Basically a very standardize email (with similiar instructions listed on the website...
Hello? i won't be contacting you if i can follow the recommendations.

Shouldn't it be a replacement?

Unfortunately i bought it off amazon Italy and shipped to Switzerland (directly) which makes matter worst.

It's a great machine but the parts and the customer service is terrible
basically two bearings failed that would cost less than $10 and they want me to buy a whole new jug assembly for $230 and when I asked them can you please just tell me the bearing part numbers that you use because I bought some bearings on Amazon but they leaked they said Oh no we won't tell you that be cause for safety reasons we don't want people pulling it apart I mean it's just a ridiculous thing to say.

You're pulling the thing apart and it's not connected to the machine and then you reassemble it it's just absurd and they just price gouging people who already pay a premium price for their product.

I say shame on Vitamix

PS What is also telling is they don't even respond to any of the negative reviews on here

My Vitamix was 7 years old (out of warranty) and stopped working. I called in and got squared away for repairs by shipping it in. Customer Service was very helpful explaining charges and what would/could be done. It was returned to me within two weeks, working as well as when it was brand-new! At first I felt the charges were a little high, but considering what a brand-new Vitamix costs, it was actually a fantastic deal. These machines are so far beyond a "blender" and are powerful and really built to last. Thanks, guys!

I use my Vitamix nearly every day, and have had it for many years. The blade sheared off while I was using the large container. I contacted the Customer Service Dept and they answered the phone promptly, and were very helpful and efficient. They sent a replacement container, which I received within a few days, and they didn't ask me to bother returning the broken one.

I used my $1200 vitamix machine to make smoothies around once a month.So the machine has made less than 100 drinks in its lifetime and it failed two months after the warranty expired. Really bad quality in my opinion for the amount that you pay! Major disappointment getting the brush off from them when I got in touch… I will never buy from this company again. Buyer beware!
