Last fall, Jean-Leigh Photography had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at this stunning venue, and I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review sooner! The experience was truly remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to create a magical day, ensuring that every detail was perfect and everyone was well cared for. Their support was invaluable, especially since it was our first time at the venue.

Despite the unfortunate rain on our couple’s big day, the team seamlessly transitioned to the indoor ceremony space, allowing the celebration to continue without missing a beat. The venue's variety of ceremony options was a huge asset, and the indoor setup was just as breathtaking as the outdoor one.

We were also captivated by the natural light that filled the space, complemented by beautiful water views and vibrant fall foliage. It was a photographer's dream! We absolutely loved our time working here and can’t wait for the opportunity to return.

We had a wonderful experience organizing our wedding at Lakeview. We looked at several of the highest rated all inclusive venues in the Columbus area and ultimately decided on Lakeview for the versatile indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces with a beautiful reception area. Lakeview has a cozy, rustic, and elegant setting, and this is one of the more affordable places for an all inclusive venue. The staff here all are professional, kind, and courteous. Alexa was our coordinator and she was simply outstanding. I couldn't have had a easier wedding day, and I am so grateful to all the staff at Lakeview for celebrating with us and making our day perfect. A wonderful venue with very friendly and professional staff!! Lakeview was one of the best venues we checked out in Columbus. It has an outdoor patio that guests really enjoyed. There’s a beautiful lake and greenery outside prepared mainly for ceremonies, but it was a great background for couple photos as well. The Lakeview ballroom was lovely and elegant with very warm vibes and great lighting, even with no extra decorations.

Coordinators were very supportive and professional. We worked with Madi and Nicole who showed us food and decor options and vendors for whatever they do not directly offer. They were both extremely patient and cooperative and planned everything to run so smoothly. They even were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and were able to source halal chicken. Day-of coordinator (Lynde - see picture) was the most helpful person ever that day and she was very approachable and communicated everything with everyone helping! She helped with everything as if she was a family member, even with decorations we brought from outside and with cleanup. The catering manager and bartender were also extremely polite and smiley and made our guests so comfortable. Everyone on set, as well as Madi and Nicole, made the day extra special and made sure it ran smoothly without any hiccups. Totally recommended!!

We got married here in October and while it was a bit chilly outside it was absolutely fabulous. We had our ceremony in the garden/courtyard area with the wooden arches. We had the option to add decorations to the arches but chose not to, it was beautiful as is. We had a buffet for our dinner option and from what I could see and heard it went smoothly. The flank steak with (i think) pineapple salsa was delicious. So was the strawberry bruschetta. Everything was yummy but those were my favorite. Our cake was amazing. The decorator was so excited about my vision. I had a $30 up charge cuz I wanted edible moss, happy to add it. The flavors were so yummy and you got samples to try at the open house and when you had you cake meeting. All our layers were different flavors and they sent all the left over cake home with us! The open house was awesome, you got to try and see almost everything. Florals we just went with what was included cuz I planned on making a lot. They put everything I made out for me. The dj was awesome and had good communication, I believe Patrick was his name. The whole planning process was super easy with the help of the coordinators. My only complaint there was a lot of the necessary meetings were during our work hours. They did accommodate later meetings when possible. I have been recommending watersedge to anyone I hear planning a wedding and still looking for a location. It was a great price for what was included, which was pretty much everything. And their help with planning, set up, and all the clean up was priceless. Everything we brought they had packed up for us to take at the end of the night. Thanks for making our wedding day such a blast and go so smoothly! Wish I could relive that day over and over.

We absolutely LOVED working with the Water’s Edge team! Harper was our coordinator and was on top of everything (the day of we also had a couple other ladies helping Harper and apologize for not remembering their names but you know who you are!). From helping with last minute target runs, to even a putting my bouquet together last minute (lol) to set up (they literally took boxes of things and got EVERYTHING set up for us), to clean/pack up. They were always on top of everything. So thank you all of you ladies for making our day so perfect!

The venue being all inclusive and the planning process being already laid out was the best case scenario for us as we live out of state. From the food to the cake to the florals, to the DJ, they all killed it. Everything came together so beautifully and my husband and I had such an incredible night! I’d definitely recommend this venue or even looking into their sister venues with the same all inclusive set up. The venues we visited under this umbrella were all beautiful and had their own sort of feel/vibe so there’s lots to choose from depending on the style you’re looking for!

This is such a great venue with good package options. We got married in front of the fireplace it was our rain plan but ended up having an extra cozy vibe and wouldn’t have changed a thing! If you are looking to have your wedding planning simplified but still able to customize and look special this is it. No calling around trying to figure out which caterer, dj, florist, or cake vendor you want. They are professionals and every vendor was on top of it!! Prior to finding this venue we hated early wedding planning and felt overwhelmed with options but the way the packages are set up made it easy. We will be writing reviews to each individual vendor but including it here too since they all work together.

Watersedge staff was professional, friendly and easy to reach. They are all very knowledgeable and experienced you can tell they have done many weddings. During the wedding day they brought us apps and drinks since we were getting photos. Take down was easy the staff packaged everything up nicely for us and family helped take it out to the cars. They moved things along even in areas where we probably didn’t give much guidance. Alexa and Kamryn were our main contacts they were both incredibly nice and did a very good job!

Food by Gourmet Fresh: Food was delicious we had the buffet style Prime Rib, blackened chicken, veggie orzo, assorted flatbread, charcuterie and an option people mentioned a lot were the potato steak skewers. Our guest mentioned they had fun taking “gravy shots” because of the tasty gravy at the bottom of the cups. One important thing we wanted to call out is that some guests had food allergies and diet restrictions and they were all very happy with their plates! One guest even pulled us aside and mentioned how satisfied they were about their food and it made them so happy that there was almond milk included at the coffee station. Everyone had plenty to eat and it was well seasoned and moist protein.

D and M DJ Entertainment: We had Mark as our DJ that night they were professional, friendly and got people to dance! We had a cozy renaissance(ish) wedding and asked if we could play some specific songs during dinner and made it happen for us. We had some obscure songs from soundtracks and had no issues. They were also incredibly helpful with the schedule which was one thing we were relived of after working out with them.

Alice Cakes: Prior to our wedding day she was very helpful with giving us samples and ideas. We almost went with a whipped cream style frosting but she had mentioned the possible risks of that specific icing melting since it would be sitting in front of the fireplace. After sharing her expertise we landed on the cream cheese hybrid icing instead. We had a white cake with fresh strawberries, red velvet and for the top Dulce De Leche with a tiramisu filling. It looked so cute, held up and tasted great!!

Bar: The bartenders were friendly and it was fun having specialty drinks!

Flowers by Fiori Florals: The fact that flower centerpieces are included in the package was so nice to hear! On top of that they are incredibly talented. We ended up hiring them for the ceremony pieces too. I loved my bouquet so much I am reusing the dried flowers for a keepsake. They were great about working with your budget. We had gone back and forth a few times to cut cost in some areas yet we were still able to achieve a special look!

Cost: We had our wedding on a Thursday which cut the price down but after hunting around and comparing this is a really great deal most places that cost the same don’t include cake, center piece flowers, linens and a dj.

Highly recommended, would not have changed a thing. We had a blast thank you WatersEdge!!

My husband and I chose WatersEdge for our Winter Wedding Reception- WatersEdge is the PERFECT spot if you're looking for that. They have the most beautiful, picturesque fire place in the middle of the venue, and it's so cozy for the winter.
We were absolutely blown away by everything they delivered on. First, we didn't have to go out and contract with separate vendors- just about everything (except photographer) was included in the cost. About 6 months out, we decided on food and drinks. 90 days from our big day, we started working with the florist, cake decorator, and DJ. We had a dedicated "Day of" coordinator, Kamryn, who was excellent - not only was she responsive to emails and questions, but she really went above and beyond on our big day to ensure we were having a good time. We had no "surprises" when it came to the day-of. We showed up, everything was beautifully decorated, all the champagnes were poured - we barely lifted a finger. Our job was to have a great evening, and that absolutely happened! The DJ was wonderful as well! Everybody commented on the "club mix" style that he did (which was our request) - but he did a great job of keeping the good tunes rolling - our guests were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT!

Very nice event center. Was here with the photo booth guy at John and Ashley's wedding. Staff is always very accommodating with whatever you may need, food was outstanding, venue is always nice and clean with a beautiful view of the water off the large back deck. A beautiful gas fireplace sits in the middle of the space and adds a nice cozy touch to the evening. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding or other event I highly recommend!
