We have been to Meeker Co the last 2 years (2018 and 2019) with Jeff and Western Outdoor Adventures and have had the time of our lives! It is such a special experience to have with my son to be out in the mountains and have the privilege of hunting these amazing animals! The lodging was A+ and the guides are very helpful and knowledgeable, A+! Will return every year for this amazing experience! Highly recommend these guys!

We just got back from the 3rd season rifle (2023) and I wanted to take a moment to send a review.
We did a DIY drop camp on one of Jeff’s properties. Unfortunately none of us got an elk or even saw one. There were a few things working against us, temps were in mid-60’s and I think last year’s herd loss had a lot to do with it.
I can say that Jeff was great to work with, answered all our questions in a timely manner and got us on the property as promised. Camp had everything set up with all supplies he said would be there. He took time to show us around and offer his tips for hunting the property
Overall it was an amazing experience on a beautiful property!
I highly recommend booking with Jeff if you are looking for an outfitter!
Already signed up for the next elk hunt in 2024 !

My friend and I had a good mule deer hunt in Rifle, CO, with Jeff’s crew. Cauy was our guide and did a great job. We were able to get two nice bucks in three days. It was our first CO hunt and we had no idea what to expect. Thanks Cauy for working hard so we could have a successful hunt. Booking for next year already.

I archery elk hunted with Western Outdoor Adventures last September. They provided and did everything they said they would. My guides name was Cauy whom was very knowledgeable and more importantly he was a great person. We saw elk on every trip and some really nice bucks. He called a bull into 18 yards our second morning of hunting and I shot it. I just hated that my hunting trip was over so quickly. I have hunted with a few other outfitters but this is the only one that is the real deal. Don’t waste your money and time going anywhere else. I will never hunt with another outfitter. If you have a problem with any of these guys you probably need to take a hard look at yourself.

Had a wonderful time. Jeff took us out one evening but our primary guide was Lane Anderson. I bagged a nice 4x4 Mule deer on the second morning of our hunt. I guess it was small by some standards but Lane set me up with an easy 50 yard shot I took from the hood of his truck. Thank you!! I'll be back.

Will further update this review after the litigation with these guys is concluded, but unless you want to be incredibly disappointed, seek out a different service. What we hoped to be a once in a lifetime hunt with friends turned into a legal nightmare after the owner of this outfit dropped the ball. Avoid these guys, and spend a little more money to go with a better guide service.
