Visited once during fall season. It was beautiful under the blue sky. Visited again on 1st June,2024. There were fireworks from 9:15 pm and it was truly awesome. Not sure whether it’s a fix date every year. If you stay near by, dnt miss to experience this fireworks show.

Was surprised to see the police and the fire service out there. Is that a regular thing? If so great. Unfortunately, Someone did have a medical emergency out there, but they were promptly taken care of. Hope they're ok.

Beautiful place to take in the scenery, and watch the birds do some fishing. If you like fishing this is one of the best places you can fish in CT.

Easily accessible spot to watch nature. It is a busy spot for boaters, bird watchers, and fishermen with access to the Connecticut River. It is a little suspect once you start following the road around under the I-91 bridge. Impromptu fire pits and a bit of a mess.

Great place to launch a trailered boat but the ramp is shallow! Not that it's a bad thing but be prepared to back way down and get wet to get your boat off... Also $20 for an out of city resident sucks lol.

Really rough water today for a small boat but still landed a decent bass. The scenery and relating is nice too
